yes actually you need the meta quest dev hub. when you do. connect to wireless adb toggle and start casting. yull see a 1:1 button switch to cinimatic. make sure you startthe game after bc it will softreset your quest. then use obs to record.

@maximt309 all my quest 2 pov videos are using the controllers for kick. All the 3rd pov videos I'm using 2 Dr.sues books I have rigged to trigger a TS cable into my interface.

I have both the quest 2 and steam version. You need the steam version for the camera angles but I am using my quest 2 + virtual desktop to play the game native on windows with steam and meta killed completely.

i didnt i remade it note for note for note, and then somebody sent me a midi file. compared them. I recorded it, the drum kit is ridiculous. still need to edit it

yes. Even the maps I use midi for, i will go through and correct. Bc 9,999 out of 10,000 Mido are very misaligned or incorrect to what the drummer is doing in certain spots. So I go through by hand. Very very painstakingly paying close attention and analyzing it. That's somthing I cannot teach unfortunately but I can teach the tricks I use to do it and yes I do plan on releasing a full series ive been meaning to do for some time.

@BeefBrothBased you need to Lauch the game via the exact method with the exact settings must go to the game prefdernces within steam and set to force open VR and in virtual desktop you want to use VDXR this will run the game in open XR. And you will see this option withing the steam dash settigns letting you know you are in Virtual desktop Runtime. But also ofcourse you must kill all stram and meta running or else steam will still attempt to launch the game.

actually yea. it was the same tama kit portnoy used in dream theater just stripped down. to the tube toms, top rack, the floor toms from the right throne.

file permissions, maybe need to jsut reset the sytem, this was recorded using the built in quest 2 recording, but boosted resolution and fov from sidequest settings

the quest like any android does have midi support but its dependent on the game engine as unreal i know you have to parse the entire midi functionality yourself

@@thevrdrummer666 What I mean is, have you ever come into contact with quest games that support midi? I am not familiar with midi devices. If there are quest games that support midi, then I can be sure that quest supports midi.

@@FranklinLong99 paradiddle has midi support bt only kind of sorta round about way/ piano vision has midi support over usb, wifi, and bluetooth natively

@@thevrdrummer666 It is a free music type. The game world will change according to the rhythm of your tapping. You only need to tap freely and make yourself the center of the world.

haha i meant nothing by anything in this except for entertainment, im 3 tutorials and i still cant get it right xD. your video is WAY more put together and professional and it was years ago nobody knew anything realy then your videos got me into the game remember that. if you had some of the specifc info it would have been perfect. its not your fault you DID specify and made clear you were using your own midi mapping. and not a GH or RB. jsut the entire DB from then on was confused. i was more of making fun of everyone else than i was of you. lol if you want to i use to have a pretty gnarly kit set up for the song converter for tab. i had to use a bongo, triangle, and cowbell. as "placeholder drums just to get separated toms. for songs that needed 4+ toms. it was a nightmare but i experimented and found a way. i know that companion tool like the back of my hand. ive made kits for it. sadly the nature of the converted tracks is that you can only use a default kit set up, which does allow you to have any set up kit you want prior.
