+Alex Romero The premise of Halo is that: The Humans having expanded from Earth, have obviously settled other planets. You're playing as a Spartan, a genetically enhanced Super Soldier with cybernetics if I remember right, for lack of a better term. Now, where the games' chronology runs is like: Halo Reach - Noble Squad (which you're part of), a team of Spartans, are initially sent out to investigate possible Insurgents only to end up finding the Covenant forces upon the planet. From there on, you're set upon defending the planet through as much as possible, team mates dying along the way. Eventually you're the last one left from the team, and help the last Human military ship escape with an important AI - Cortana. You stay behind to man the AA gun to help them escape, and then have a last-man-standing extra mission where it's basically just a case of survive as long as possible. Halo: Combat Evolved - You're Spartan 117, Master Chief, the last Spartan left. Your ship's attacked, and the crew bring you out of Cryo to defend the ship. Inevitably failing, you also abandon ship after the crew only to crash down upon a ring planet known as Halo. Halo's actually a prison planet of sorts to detain a parasitic race built by a race that came before all. TL:DR End game for that one's survive, find and free the remaining Humans, destroy Halo before it's activated and kills all sentient life in the galaxy. Halo 2 - picks up from soon after that. The Covenant have found their way to Earth, and so you're doing your best to defend it in places. You also play as a falsely accused heretic known as The Arbiter, sporadically. Master Chief's main goal is to defend the Humans, Arbiter's after Heretics initially. Both end up 'captured' by the parasitic races Overmind who sets both of them about dealing with the Covenant after the Arbiter discovers that the Halos will destroy all life. TL:DR - keep The Flood (parasites) under control, defend Earth, fend off the Covenant. And for Arbiter, making his own people in the Covenant see the truth. Halo 3 - Arbiter's race, Elites, team up with the Humans to help out on Earth as all hell's breaking loose. Still more Halo stuff, destroy another! Things are getting a tad messy at this point in terms of how things are on Earth, a friend dies 'n' all that. Halo 4 - admittedly I've not played it through fully yet, but you've ended up floating through space for some years in stasis. Ending up on a Forerunner planet, you're trying to fight your way through to the core of the Shield World (I think it was), to lower the shielding and send off a message that you're still alive. Haven't played beyond this point yet, though! Halo 5 - N/A There's also Halo: ODST - ODST, or Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, otherwise known as 'Hell Jumpers' in the game. You're playing as an ODST in a city on Earth in which you're essentially the only Human there from what I recall. You're just a normal Human in this, trying to track down your comrades and find out what's happened in other areas of the city and what have you. Here's to hoping this answers your wonders!

+Bluyth Oh! And I forgot about Halo Wars, the game that most of this footage is from. Set 20 years before Halo, you're the Captain/Commander shown in this who's battling against the Covenant left right and centre. Goes pretty far in it, but he's a total boss so it's fine.

Halo sucks level 100,000,000,000,00 when I play it(super rare I mean once every 500 years for like 10 minutes I get a hard urge to get the game break it burn it piece it together and send it to the creators that's why I won't buy destiny that game looks horrible
