Nice video, maybe a little unsteady, zoom wasn’t sharp enough and didn’t stay focused enough to read, most of the signs and labels, but thank you for sharing. Would have been interesting, to have seen the drinks options too. I am baffled, why a first class lounge, uses such a low quality, none luxury soap brand, as L'Occitane. I wouldn’t even use that, in my own home! Why not use brands like Floris, Jo Malone, Aesop, Hermès, Penhaligon’s or Aqua Di Parma? What was the shower amenity brand, in business class? And what were the electric installations standing around on the floor? Heathers? Air conditioning? Why were they not build, into the walls like in normal places? Also this seems extremely cheap and badly designed. I find the lounge too dark, no water features, seemingly no massage, barber nor beauty facilities available to first class. No views, no outside terrace section. Not a lot of “wanting to stretch out” furniture available, none actually. Strange the lounge chairs are lined up, in a row rather then facing each other, but might be due to the virus at the time of recording, if that was still a thing in Thailand.

You pay a fortune to fly business and they have no salt and pepper. The seat foams are too hard and the matress they supply is shit. Food quality is nothig compared to ten years ago and the attitude of the flight crew is frankly shit.

I want to go to the qatar business lounge with my parents.

Travelled twice on Etihad 787 business class, looks luxurious but wasn't too comfortable.

Qatar is kinda disappointing to me. Flew PE and J class to Europe from HK stopping in Doha, their multinational crews are hit and miss. Some are quite friendly and professional, most of them work with their blanked face and mind. Some even with black face all along the flights. I got the same issue with EK too. QR business lounge @ Doha is nowhere near CX. A la carte is really average and the place gets very crowded. For some reason, I always get shuffled in the shuttle bus to board the plane 100 miles down the terminal, never once I get to board the plane via the bridge. Feels like I'm flying with a budget airline when walking up those staircases along with other pax plus their duty free, suitcases and hand carry.

I do still love Eva air lounge in BKK though. Staff always remember me, which says a lot about their hospitality. And great quality food.

One thing to keep in mind with Finnair business class now is that they can be consistently cheap to get. I'm flying HKG-HEL-LHR in October and booked Economy with upgrade using Avios (1:1 conversion with BA Avios) for the HKG-HEL segment, which only took 40000 Avios. Using rough value of 100 Avios = 1GBP, adding that to the 260 GBP (yes, 260) economy fare, meaning you can get this long haul Business experience for less than 700 GBP without any elaborate or complicated methods.

Is it true that LV longe access exclusively for Qatar Privilage gold and platinum members or LV vip customers? Can business class customers who doesn't have any mebership can also use LV lounge access? Do they ask for any LV longe access to enter the LV lounge? Can business class passengers also have the option to board from business lounge like first class passengers?

I was fortunate to have one of the forward facing window seats on a flight in 2023. However, I was only semi-satisfied with it. It certainly was spacious and private. Strangely though, the seat was on the hard side and overall not comfortable. The seat was quite low, and I was not able to lift it despite several setting options. The back rest was not adjusted to the body shape but more or less like a vertical ironing board. Again some options to adjust it but they only made the back rest even more uncomfortable. The other aspects on Etihad - cleanliness, service and food - were good, though. This year I chose Gulf Air. Again it was a 787. Although the configuration is less spacious than on Etihad (2-2-2 versus 1-2-1), I found the actual seat much more comfortable. It felt like a well-cushioned armchair. Between the two airlines, I would therefore rather fly Gulf Air again, at least on a Dreamliner.

Yah it's true it's the lousy business class I ever will think about I totally regret the choice chossing this flight and also the lodge was so bad in service and the food was also so bad and awkward ì really regret the waste of my money pls improve the business class for passengers walk in with hope looking for facilities for the money they pay shame for the Ethiad flights 😢😢

Some of their 777-300er has the same type of seat with an 2012 era fabric. But I don’t understand why this is the same as the 2012 era but with the new fabric and carpet that you seen on all the newer Thai Airways seats. Because the newer style purple doesn’t go well with the 2012 style seats. Also the newer looking ones are a lot better like the ones on some of the newer 777-300er and A350-900.

Rare to see such a huge space used so inefficiently.

There's so much ungratefulness here lol, and people are always like this. The business lounge isn't as exclusive since many are there BUT it still is more comfortable, nicer than the usual waiting areas. The business seats on the old 777, isn't as nice as q-suite but its absolutely not economy either. Maybe you should take a flight with economy next for 7 hours, and wait in the general waiting areas, and not have priority boarding - you will be grateful very quickly!

For your information, the section you called First Class is only makeshift one. They only want to temporary use it but with all the planning that tied up with bankruptcy process, this part that not generate much apparent income would not be improved significantly. The Quality of foods here is Carb and it is like 3-stars hotel breakfast buffet line. I would go to SilverKris for foods and good drinks. One more thing to point out there is a small section with glass panel in the middle of prestige lounge, it used to be called First Class Section as well.
