Welcome! Here you'll find our daily "shorts" we call "Scripture in a Minute" pointing out some highlight from our chapter a day reading plan. There are also "clips" from recent Bible Studies from sections of a longer Bible Study. Lastly, there are the long format Bible Studies, usually from our Sunday morning gathering. Our current series is called "Through the New Testament," where the speaker has chosen a passage from the seven chapters we read that week.

Thank you I needed to hear this
The more you seek after gods grace through repentance the more you care and be less selfish meet gods conditions and you'll get touched by the Lord in the spirit....
Have your ever considered how the lord can deal with millions of prayers upon earth at different times that's how powerful he his..
Amen. Thank you for your message.
Thx much for posting important words for all to hear. We all need Jesus everyday and all day and at all ages of our lives. May the Lord have mercy on all our souls 🐾 🕊 🙏
Are you breathing !! the words for retirement are not in scripture!!
According to 1Corinthians 7:32, single people were Paul's favorite people because they can be devoted to the Lord without distraction
I guess I'm an old woman now. I'm 72 but I love it and the reason I love it is because with age comes wisdom and I confidently trust the Lord to take care of me. I know I've had probably the most hurtful thing happened this year that I've ever had happen and I want you to know I pulled over in a parking lot and I was praying and I said Lord I'm hanging on to you and He said no I'm hanging on to you. It was so true He turned all of it around for good. Every bit of that pain. He's such an awesome God 🍂
What a wonderful testimony. Thank you for sharing.
Jesus is the way the truth and the life
Pray in "Faith"; "Believe", and not doubt; "Wait" upon the Lord. For one plants and one waters, but it is only God, (In Christ Jesus) Whom Himself, "WILL", bring the increase. (1 Cor. 3:6-8)
Amen! I needed that reminder today. Thank you
Paralyzed by fear straight from the enemy

So to turn from sin and follow the Lord Jesus is true repentance? What happens to us when we are following God but we fall and sin again? Do we just need to get back up and try to stay on God's path for us and forgive ourselves and move towards him? Because any time I think i'm doing good.... I sin again and I hate it...... I hate it.... "If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away" ... I know it's not literal, but what then should I do to separate myself from sin and to stay in God's presence?
I think it's best to look apon God and all things good (Philippians 4:8-9) After we give our sins to God and repent, we need to let go of them, for he has already cast it out to the sea of forgetfulness. Instead of looking down look up towards God and focus on his Goodness. It may make you feel guilty but the more time you spend praising God and admiring his handiwork the less time we have to want to sin. It will be hard at first but keep looking for God and he will show you himself. And remember to study the Bible the more you're enveloped in it the easier it is to hear God.
@@DarkCellsCustos Paul wrote in Galatians to “walk by the Spirit and you will not fulfill the desires of the sinful nature” the answer seems to be in a full surrender to God and endeavoring to obey the Spirit.
@@therespawned1646 This is extremely helpful. Thank you so much. God bless!
@@CalvaryChapelFortWaltonBeach Amen. Thank you and God bless 🙏
Thank you so much for your scripture based teaching I am struggling more than ever and I can't begin to tell you how much you are helping me thanks and God bless you!
Yeah, we've been taught not to pray against those who hurt us and so we just ignore it. There's nothing wrong with praying for God to save you from your enemies. And that saving could mean God fighting your foes. Just look at the state of Israel today. How could they ignore their enemies?
Philippians 4. To be at peace even suffering needs. Hebrews 4. Enter into Jesus rest.
And a great video on Psalm 63
Jesus created and kept the Biblical day of rest. And He is our example in this spiritual battle over worship. Remember. The fourth commandment KJV reminds us of Genesis 2:2&3 and Revelation 22:14.
Just pray
I was thinking about this. Thank you
Thank you, Sir.
@@thetemplelaboratory you’re very welcome.
I’m wondering, what of those who do have a change of thinking, a change in faith, and yet find themselves unable to turn from their sin, and are rather left with a nagging hatred of the thing they are unable to fix (which I suppose is better than a permanent apathy)
@@ralph2766 Ralph, probably a longer conversation is in order. If I’m reading you correctly, carefully reading through the first half of Romans might be the best way to answer that question. Do you have a Christian friend to discuss this with, or a pastor or nearby Bible teaching church to inquire at?
@@CalvaryChapelFortWaltonBeach many of us have the same question.
I've been there. Jesus came to me at 4, I've always believed in Him. Then for 35 years or so i did my own thing. Hated it the entire time. So i had faith, baptism, and a lil scriptures knowledge. I was missing repentance to make the salvation complete (hard for a 4 year old to repent). I was also not given any instructions on how to live a life for Christ. I say that to say this, if you pray for it and believe Christ will grant you a request for repentance. Take care, praise Christ🎉
@@CalvaryChapelFortWaltonBeach I’ll take your suggestion to heart. I unfortunately don’t have many others to discuss this with nor a church. I’ve recently moved to a new area, and the local churches have sadly come up lacking, but I’m still on the hunt
Dear Ralph, this video is deceptive because English word repent comes from Greek “metanoia”, which stands for “change of mind”. The man in the video though modified it, adding “change of behavior” idea which is heresy. Salvation is ONLY by Grace ALONE through faith ALONE in Christ ALONE. Please don’t believe this video and don’t torture yourself with an evil idea that your faith must result in a change of action. Think about it, if Christ died for ALL of your sins, it logically means that even if your life doesn’t change, YOU’RE STILL SAVED. Change of lifestyle is NOT A REQUIREMENT for salvation. Whether you’ve changed your lifestyle or not, it doesn’t change the fact that you have already sinned - this is exactly why we need a savior - because we ALREADY SINNED. So changed behavior AFTER you have sinned doesn’t change the fact that you ALREADY sinned, therefore if you believed that Christ died for all of your sins, you’re saved, and your lifestyle doesn’t play ANY role in your salvation, otherwise you could’ve saved yourself and Christ would’ve died for nothing. That being said, living a Christian life after you were saved is a good idea, because of personal rewards for you in Heaven and because God chastises his children (saved people) when they misbehave in this life. But if you believed in Christ dying for your sins, even your misbehavior in this life was still paid for by Christ, and you’ll still go to Heaven.
Amen 🙏🏼

Overwhelming!

There will be a time in life Jesus said that we should go enter into our closet and pray play secretly and he reward you secretly he will watch over you and he will protect you
I always feel so much lighter after I put my faith in God. What a weight off my shoulders!
True just like when I prepared to write my exams I put over in God's hands❤😊
Woah🎉❤
Why.. no prayer is gonna do shit ...your all nuts to believe in that crap ...not one thing in the Bible is proven..cult is all it is
Scripture says take every thought captive to the OBEDIENCE of Christ

I sometimes wonder how much time God will give us and people who delight in wickedness time to turn from our sins maybe that is what king David is thinking
You are given what you need and what you don’t know you need your will be done my Lord
The bible is a work of fiction and lies , if you are in a religion you are in a cult , seek help.
1CORINTHIANS 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 💗

Has your God ever demanded human sacrifice be carried out in his name in order to appease his will?
100%... yup... from every single person that has ever been on the planet including you and me. Here's the thing, He's completely just to demand that. In fact, it would be unjust not to demand that. If you'll follow that train of thought, recognizing the predicament that we are in, how flawed we actually are, it helps to see the love and wisdom of God, in his exquisite and beautiful plan of redemption, where He has absorbed within himself on the cross of Calvary the costs we have racked up, and has made a way, if we want it, for a "rebirth."
