This video is a multiplayer PVP highlight compilation of me, Stevebud flying the Spitfire Mk.IXe in the game (IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles).
There are some really amazing dogfights in this compilation that show the incredible strengths of the Spitfire Mk.IXe. This video also demonstrates some great teamwork as I'm joined by my friend 49Snowman and others on a number of flights.
All planes in this video are real players playing on the Combat Box multiplayer server.
This video was a labor of love and I really hope you enjoy it. Any comments or feedback about it would be greatly appreciated.

@@stevebudspwnzone It's been around since 04 I think and is now at 414.4 starting at 403.2 we are probably going into Stalingrad etc as not many folks left in hyperlobby not a fan of closed pit but it is what it is, in our view ultrapack was the best version anyway good flying and tks for the vid.

Yep the video and your editing skills are as good as it gets mate and the graphics are excellent too - no sign of anti-aliasing etc. Great flying and support via comms between you and your wingman, your marksmanship is up there with the best and last but not least, your defensive flying is exceptional. Very impressive. Well done and thanks for all of the effort that must have gone into it.
Thanks man! I really appreciate your comment. It took three months to make this video but I think it was worth it. I tried as hard as I could with this edit to show all the things that make multiplayer flight sims so exciting. Stay tuned - I've started gathering footage for the next video, it should be even better!

I use a 2080ti but it's a few years old at this point. I'm going to upgrade it soon for sure. I get pretty good performance when combat box isn't super full but my rig definitely struggles in a full server.

My goodness why does every "Pro Gamer RUclipsr" feel the need to dub annoying AF music over the entire length of what would otherwise be a decent interesting video. You basically ruined it completely with the nonstop "trash wave, 'dumpster diving - low IQ special'" playing at max volume over the game audio nonstop. I can't even hear myself think when just watching a part of the video and trying to pay attention. It makes it impossible to pay attention to what is actually being shown on the screen from the video it is that bad. No music + Game audio 🔉👂> Trash wave crack tunes TwEaKeR ToIlEt SpEcIaL EdItIoN!!!

So many combat flight sims showing axis aircraft pooning allied aircraft , it’s nice to see it the other way round
you seem to be able to pull off a lot of long range hits when flying Allied fighters with canons ,what are you setting your convergence to ?
250 yards - the default setting.
That's not that hard with hispano guns, it has high velocity and mass of shell so the ballistic is quite straight and good) Flying hurricane or tempest I did lots of hit from 400-600m distance. Hispano guns are easy to learn)
I use default 250y (230m) too

What is the convergence of your weapons?
Hey Carlos, I use the default settings for convenience 250 yards. I've tried longer and shorter but found that default is still most effective.

Hey thanks for the wonderful comment! I spent 3 months making this video and I have no regrets. I'm actually really touched by the way everyone has been reacting to it on RUclips and within the flight sim community through discord. I was going to take a break from making flight sim content like this but everyone's positivity has really pumped me up to make more and continue experimenting with new ways to create content around this hobby we all love so much.
Oh also, yes that shot at 9:36 is probably the best shots I've ever taken. If I played the game for 100 years I doubt it would get very many sequences like the one you're referring to.

It's not sped up. Maybe check your playback options?

@@Cannon__Fodder I think the replay system sometimes doesn't accurately reproduce their aim and bounces around weird. Also what up cannon?!?!?
