There was a guy who owned a Bell 47-J back in the 80's and He would fly it around the city such an iconic and beautiful aircraft reminds Me of the 1966 Elvis movie "Paradise Hawaiian Style " where Elvis ws a pilot for a helicopter charter service.
I work at an aviation museum we have the same Bell. Any chance you would allow use to license 1 minute or so of this awesome video? We are doing some educational content for kids.
@@kegokaylin We're still interested but would need an email allowing our museum to use it. Can you please email me at cliff.hahn@motat.org.nz ? Appreciate it!
Really?? Your a safety hazard to all who fly near you. Just because you don't see traffic doesn't mean they are not there and not letting your fellow pilots know your intentions is arrogant as hell!!! Say what you want to me but others have mentioned this on these comments as well. Insulting me doesnt alter your neglect !!!
TheDave570 I don't know if you noticed this or not but this gentlemans eyes are 99% OUTSIDE the cockpit plus I believe that helicopters are subjected to different circuit heights at airfields ,or at least it's that way down under , which is where I'm from and where I learnt to fly ,plus I'm going to speculate that going by this blokes t shirt that he has many thousands of hours experience in aircraft far more complex than this one and flies in environments that can be extremes on the meteorological scale . What is your flight experience ?
47 J ? Or Huey, 47 J or Huey, I can't tell which is my favorite. I think the both of them are the best looking helicopters in the world. Along with the Sikorsky S76. Oh, if only I hit the big number!!!
Yes, I too love the song of the 47/OH13. But perhaps equally as much with the song of the Sikorsky S-58/H34. This model Bell always caused me to wonder if this bird was the root of the helicopter PIC being in the right seat generally since Bell chose to position the instrument stack best accessible to the left hand/arm? Thanks for sharing........
Pretty cool "how's your hearing? I like it no head set no belts and just go fly nice.
"Say what?"; It's not deafening in any way. Engine and transmission behind you and exhaust points to the rear.
@@kegokaylin Very cool just happy to see you flying.
I have a G3-B2 but always wanted to fly a J-2A! Great footage!
My dream machine.

You're welcome to use any of it for that purpose.

Shouldn't Bell 47 have glass ceiling?
Yes, on the 47-D's and G models.
Great.....
It is fantastic good job...
Awesome pastime for a peaceful quiet Sunday afternoon.
awesome video. If I could just get the right Powerball Numbers!
Why da instrument panel on tge left???
Pilot seat is front and centered, instrumentation to the left assures clear full frontal view.
Probably the best set up for any pilot to obtain the best visibility in any aircraft, fixed or rotor wing.
Excellent film footage and sound. Great scenery. Looks as though one of the commenters had their cherrios pi**ed in at breakfast.

Great scenery.
Excellent film footage.
Like being there. Perfect views. Really enjoyed the flight.
Would you say these are tough reliable helicopters? where can I pick one up?
Amazing flight.
You look like a really good pilot, but your safety practices leave a lot to be desired!!! Sorry.
I'm always a student. What can I do better? Thanks for your input!
Sir, if I have to tell you, it's not worth repeating !!
As I suspected, you have nothing worth saying. Check back after your first lesson.

Thank you for your quick reply, Jjj Ww. I understood.
I have a Mosquito XE presently -- I would love to have one of these classics...but they are too $$$ for my current pocket...
Oh that's wonderful. I just fly a model helicopter.

Awesome View. Thanks for posting.
Your aircraft ?
+cyclistpilot Even better; I don't own it, but am compelled to fly it from time to time.
how come you didn't need to make any raidio calls?
+Daniel Williams--uncontrolled airport,no other traffic, CAVU, never crossed runway, never got over 500 ' and I just like to hear that Bell 47 song.
Oh that makes sense, in Australia were i live we have to make radio calls in uncontrolled airspace. Happy holidays and safe flying!
Say again?
Not legally required, but good safety practice. Plus what if you went down?
