Can you make a chicken nugget recipe?
We got a popcorn chicken recipe: www.wandercooks.com/air-fryer-popcorn-chicken/ Or chicken karaage (like Japanese style chicken nuggets) www.wandercooks.com/tori-karaage-fried-chicken/
@@wandercooks yipeeee tysmmm
We call this "grater cake" in Jamaica.
Man this thing is everywhere! 😂 So cool, thanks for sharing. 🤗
This is a street food in my country and we call it coconut toffees 😂😂
In India? 😁 So fascinating learning more about this. It is usually a handmade treat in Australia. Do you eat it any time of year?
@@wandercooks no in Sri Lanka
@@wandercooks yup we eat it anytime of the year 😘
@@dasunipumika1794 oh sweet. Well thanks for letting us know! Cool how many countries eat this. We heard it's also popular in South Africa - love how much this recipe travels haha!
This is an Indian treat
Oh really? How cool. Made exactly the same way or different? And what do you call it? 😀
@wandercooks exactly the same but some recipes differ bc they add diff stuff like milk powder and rose syrup but that's optional and we also call it coconut ice or coconut pak
@@payalsukdeo1789 omg love the idea of adding rose syrup, might have to look into those variations. Thanks for letting us know. :)
The recipe that we grew up using had Copha instead of condensed milk.
Oh really? Interesting. Have you tried both ways with condensed vs copha? Curious on how different it tastes. We've only ever ate it with condensed ourselves.
It's been entirely too long since I last made coconut ice (maybe because I can feel my lifespan decreasing with every bite). Might change that this year...
Haha fair call 😂 remember - cut em into smaller bites... So you can feel slightly better about it AND make them last longer. 😁
brooo i littalry made this yesterdayyyyy
Great minds 😂😂 that's wicked.
@@wandercooks for real
Tried this a few times and its so good! Thank you!!
Oh cheers! It's a good one hey. We make it a lot for dins too hehe.
❤❤❤
wow. where do I see the measurements? thanks
Head to Wandercooks.com and search "mochi pizza" - www.wandercooks.com/mochi-cheese-pizza/
Add green bell pepper and some olives, and you have a greek salad or a horiatiki as we call them
Yessss! Love that salad too. The olives go so good. We chop it a little chunkier for that style. :)
Wow leaving the slur in there huh?😂
Huh? I stuffed up my pronunciation of cheeky yeah, I didn't slur my words just tripping over them 😅
Oh far out, just Googled it...😬 we've removed that from the video - thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. Was definitely not our intention. 🙏
Your voice is so soothing and cute wow lol.. also where can someone purchase those stretchy bowl covers you got there?
Haha thank you 😁 So they're silicone bowl covers. We got ours from our local department store, but they have similar ones on Amazon - amzn.to/3A6Z2gB We prefer using them than plastic wrap etc, but you could also pop a plate over the top if you needed.
That's 5 ingredients
Cucumber, tomato, red onion, feta, salt and pepper is 6 no? ...I mean I suppose we can count S&P as one really 💁😂
Take out the feta and add olive oil and you have Israeli salad
Aww yeah, with a bit of parsley too?
Its literally called a palestinian or farmers salad. What is there left for israelis to claim?
could i use pineapple juice cuz thats all i got and i dont feel like going back to the store 😂😂😂
Instead of pear? Yeah, in a pinch and to save time, that'll be fine. It may taste slightly different but not too much. Enjoy!
So trying this thank you🙏🏼🙌 🥗
Oh yay! Let us know what you think! 🥰
lionfield approved
Haha 💯
Thank you
You're welcome!
❤
Fairly time-consuming, having made the roux from scratch, but wow, On The Money! Cooked the chicken in my Convection Microwave and it turned out a treat: got that Crunch perfectly. We felt it needed some greens as well so we had a side of Edamame. Since we don't eat beef, I used 2 teaspoons of Marmite (Yes, Really) in 3 cups of water for the sauce..! Delish! 😋
Tasty things always are hey? Although, I do feel like once you've done it a few times you can streamline to suit how you cook etc. Great job using the Vegemite haha love it!
Or lemon and powder sugar -
As in you'd pop that into this recipe?
White Christmas ???yum anyway ☺️🙏🏻
You got it! White Christmas... But make it caramel 🤣
@@wandercooks I’m gonna do this for sure .. 🤩
Yesssss 🙌🙌 let us know what you think!
Hahaha, been there, done that with yeast: thought there was something wrong with a breadmaker... 😳
😂 so easy to catch yourself out on! I'll always test our yeast first now... Just in case 😁
@@wandercooks Yep. I always "start" it with slightly warm water and a little caster sugar. It's either live or dead!
@@bryan3550 and we're all hoping it's alive hehe!
They remind me of munchkins, I should honestly make this someday
The yeast might make me vomit but it's okay 😭
We certainly hope it doesn't 😂 but love the thought of them being little munchkins 😂 The yeast makes it taste more like doughnut than pancake etc
How warm does the „warm Place“ need to be?
We usually pop in an oven that we set to "proof" mode initially (40C / 104F) but we turn it off after it's warmed, so it doesn't stay that hot. You can also wrap in a tea towel and pop above your fridge etc. Somewhere around 20C / 70F would be ideal.
▢ 1 ½ cups self raising flour ▢ ¼ cup sugar ▢ 1 tbsp matcha powder aka Japanese green tea powder, culinary grade (perfect for cooking) ▢ 1 egg ▢ ½ cup Greek yoghurt 125 ml / 4.4 fl oz ▢ ½ cup milk 125 ml / 4.4 fl oz ▢ 1 tbsp butter for cooking
Wicked! Will try it out in my shiny new Convection Microwave oven. 😉
Oh yeah! That would be a fun test recipe to try 😁
awesome! i love pasta and i'll try this tomorrow, can you now make a video making a recipe with this homemade pasta?
Yeah, we'll have to do a short of it, but here's the sauce we pair it with: ruclips.net/video/4yW9Te5L_Ng/видео.htmlsi=iag0l6SyYJqI0zsa Or head to our site Wandercooks for the full breakdown and recipe etc 😁
No, I am sorry but that doesn’t make the grade, even simplified to be Aussie it must be better than that. You need two colours of jelly and they don’t get set in the cake. They get chopped very roughly and added throughout. The cake must have sherry or similar liquor poured on it and the custard should be thick. The fruit is added in a good layer in the middle and top. If anyone says no alcohol, just say no trifle for you.
Woah, never seen a trifle with chopped jelly through it - and two colours? 🤯 We'd def give your version a go! Thanks for sharing. Lol at the last line.
Eggs and flour? I'm not a baker.
Didn't realise you had to be a baker to have eggs and flour 😂😜 they're our staples for Sunday morning pancakes lol
My grandmother used to make pasta like this. The flavor was unmatched ❤
Ah super lucky to have your grandmother make it for you, that would've been amazing. 🥰
Pastabilities :0
😂😂😂 yesssss.
I really don't get anything out of the tutorials that are missing half the tutorials. I want to be able to hear the instructions while I work in my kitchen. If I have to keep my eyeballs on some written material or on someone's physicality but there's no instruction it takes me twice as long to cook it myself. I might as well read a cookbook! I do not understand why people make these half-baked videos
Sounds like this video style might not be for you, these are complementary videos to our blog, where we go into more detail. Having said that, this is one of our most popular recipes and most cooked from the site, so we do recommend you have a read and see if that's more helpful for you. www.wandercooks.com/potato-bake/ We also have a RUclips short of this recipe with voiceover here: ruclips.net/video/Ud43BBNFju0/видео.html
Where are the amount of ingredients?
In the description, and on our website: www.wandercooks.com/sultana-cake/ 😁👍
Yeeeeesss! 🤗
Hehe 🙌🙌 🍝
I too cook too much rice and freeze the excess: I've found some great 3-part storage containers specifically for freezing cooked rice at "Daiso". Totally recommend them!
Good old Daiso! Yeah it freezes so well. We usually cook double what we need so we have leftovers. So great to grab out the fridge or freezer!
a rough time and temperature would be nice.
Yep, on the blog - www.wandercooks.com/potato-bake/ - we can fit a lot more info on there without super long vids for you to get to the point. Also, it's 180C / Approx. 1hr - 1.5hrs depending on your oven, potatoes, baking dish etc.
I ended up w tahini😅😅😅
Haha, yeah might need more oil for your ratio. Make sure to check out the full recipe: www.wandercooks.com/toasted-sesame-oil/
This looks a delicious sponge easy to follow, what size eggs did you use for this recipe, would they be medium size thank you for sharing this recipe greetings from dublin ireland Patricia 🇮🇪❤️❤️
Hey Patricia! Lovely to hear from you. Our eggs were classed as extra large here (Australia) that are 59g each. Hope that helps!
Yum
Churs!
Looks like you mixed pancakes and a salad
😂 I guess you're right. But instead of lettuce it's cabbage. I tell you what though, add the bbq sauce and mayo on top with the bacon and we guarantee it doesn't taste like salad 😜
I liked the way you mixed it
Cheers! We keep it gentle to keep the air in the mix AND so the colour doesn't run out the strawbs. 👍
@wandercooks ah! Yeah, I would just vigorously mix, explains a lot😅
@@badnipple😂 Yeah fo sho. Fold that in next round 🙌🙌
Here in the Philippines, they sell that as takoyaki labeled as veggie tako even though takoyaki supposed to have octo in it.
Oh really? That's so interesting! And takoyaki is meant to be the octopus balls not pancake haha so fascinating.
thank you for making this video under 1 minute. everyone else has a 5-7 minute video, which i very much don't need.👍
Agreed - especially not for a sauce. Chuck it all in a bowl and mix hehe
well comment 1 1⃣
Yass. 🙌
Wrong!
Not wrong, just our way that we make it. Just like there's no one pancake recipe, or one way to make spaghetti bolognese. How do you like to make them differently? Always happy to learn the different variations.
@@wandercooks just saying it is not Aussie. I am Aussie and I know we Aussies love sausage rolls, in general sausage rolls in Australia are made with beef, in the UK they are generally made with pork. I like a mixed version myself but I am not sure if Aussies can claim that sausage rolls are Aussie, even if they are better than the foreign versions.
@@chapmansbg fascinating, I swear all our local bakeries do pork only sausage rolls, but I know some do a combo, or beef only. Mixed is definitely a good way to go, I agree. We actually do a beef version too haha. You're right in that it's most likely come from the UK etc, it's just our "Aussie take" on how Nan would make them growing up.
@@wandercooks in my family I think I am the only one that has ever made sausage rolls. There is is a place in Canberra called the Oven Door and they make the best sausage roll I have ever tasted. They put carrots in them and the filling is a mushy taste bomb, the pastry is crisp and lush with a bit of tomato sauce they are delectable. Goes down really well with an iced coffee moove or oak.
@@chapmansbg drooling! That sounds so good. Is there anything better than that combo? Similar to the carrots, one near us does chunky onion which I really like too. Gotta have the tomato sauce hehe! Hell yes with the iced coffee. Though we've got the Farmers Union Iced Coffee in Adelaide 😝
They look tender and delicious, thank you for sharing
You're welcome - let us know if you try it. :D
That seems easy thank you 😮 but can I use beef instead of pork ?
You certainly can! 😊 That usually cooks a little quicker too because you don't have the pork skin to cook off.
Merci pour la délicieuse recette.
You're very welcome. 🥰
