There are many ways u can alter the dress you are correct, but in my case we had a very short time to fix it, and wanted to show another option. I find that with pants, too. Two pairs of pants I bought recently were way too long!! Why is baggy and long trendy 😢

Manufacturers typically create standard size that will be tailored later, assuming customers might need to hem or alter the fit. If they're too long or baggy for taste simple alteration can make them fit perfectly. And let me give you the example: when I use to work in men's clothing, they would hem pants, the issue was that sometimes pants are not placed correctly on the waist line, or customers like different styles of hem("new York style"- like short hem, "medium break"-is regular length and "full break" is longer length.) So instead of wasting so much time for redu, they simply send unhemed pants and we would hem them by customer's preference. I hope that helps ☺️

Thank you for your question, I used a zipper presser foot but you also can use the foot for invisible zipper and then top stitching. (zipper foot #P36LN & Right zipper foot #P36N)

We took the picture as an inpo only, and we created the sleeves to match her dress with not a lot of beading.The customer request is most important. My first priority is to see customers happy.
