California Street Legal Crf50 pitbike | Lights
So in this video I go over where I got my lights, how I mounted them on the crf50, and what is needed in order to pass your brake and light inspection to get your license plate for your crf50 pitbike here in California. Really its just making sure you are prepared, you have all the D.O.T approved lights(Headlight,Turn Signals,Rear Tail light), and that it all functions correctly. Most common way people fail this is they get lights that do not have the D.O.T SAE stamp on them. Once your ready this inspection is so easy to pass you will be very suprised.

In this video I show you how to remove your original stater coil and replace it with a lighting stater coil to power lights. I used a Rick's hot shot 90watt stator coil and a 12v regulator. Did you have to install a blinker relay or does the handle bar switch handle that?
That doesn't make any sense to me. The way you hooked that up. Why even put a regulator. You pretty much bypassed the regulator.
Got a rfz db x 14 trying to put lights , yellow and white to regulator Yellow and white only have 3v at idle 12v battery not charging. Have the 2 coil stator do I need the 6 coil stator?

@@WestHaddnin there is no wiring harness to buy, you need to source all of the parts and wire them together manually. You’ll need to wire the stator to a rectifier, and from the rectifier you can send power to your handlebar mounted switch that will then go to your turn signals, headlight, horn, etc. it’s pretty simple 12v wiring, if you have a multimeter it’s pretty straightforward.

The brake switch mount I fabricated. You could also use a peice of angle iron that will do the trick just drill two holes. Im considering fabricating this kit to sell, let me know what you think?

Does it have to be a brand new Honda 50? Or does it have to be a certain year? I finally have the money to get a 50 a convert it and put the parts I want on it but I want to make sure I do it the right way and can do it I’m in Fullerton trying to get it plated
It's super easy just need the proper lights to pass brake and light inspection. It has to be a 2005 or older and you must have title that matches frame and engine number.
Where did you get that 12 V inverter I’m not good with wiring and that has just enough wires all the other ones I see have a Lotta wires

what headlight/taillight kit are you using?
Headlight and taillight are from Amazon. And I designed and fabricated my own light mounts. I will make a video on the parts in detail.
