Great video. One correction, Janet Guthrie was the first woman to qualify for the Indy 500 in 1977. She also raced in the Dayton 500 that same year. She won her class twice in the 12 Hours of Sebring. I think she could be on the list or an honorable mention.

Le Mans '69 was one of the greatest races ever staged. The Ickx/Oliver Ford GT40 raced neck and neck for the last 2 hours with the remaining Porsche- and Ickx beat the Porsche by about 300 feet (90 meters).

1999 should be #1. By far the best one. This race had everything you could ask for.

It's funny,but somehow i believe that men actually honor those ladies more than women do. I would always root for the lady if she is good enough to compete with the best of the best. And i believe Michele Mouton's voice should be heard more often. Especially in those times.
