hello that external view monitor; is that running a different xplane instance? Or this is all using one CPU? Sorry if I might have missed this info in your video but your setup is spectacular!
Thank you. The single external view is running on a separate pc and needs a 2nd X-Plane license. X-Plane is capable for multi-pc setups.
Is this setup compatible with new FS2020?

Please tell me how you connected the Precision Cirrus controls to your G1000, I recently purchased the simionics G1000 and would like to connect it to the Precision flight control York, any advice would be appreciated
This is not the PFC Console, it is the Elite Console. The Yoke is not intended to be connected to the G1000, the Yoke connects to the Flightsim Software.
Nice set up what size and resolution are your monitors??

Yes it was an extended pattern ;-). NRST work in PM-GAGC. I didn´t dig into the atc facility of XP yet, maybe talking is possible with additional software.

Is this the faa approved version of xplane or just thr normal home one? Did you use the default c 172 g1000?
This is the standard version of XPlane 11.I use the standard XP Cessna 172, the G1000 is Project Magenta.
@@thomasjoas6000 do you know of any freeware G1000, not including the default. Do you also know some other avionics simulators for the Aspen Avionics line of stuff? Broke flight simmer over here!

I like the set up. With second computer giving external view of plane etc. How ever step by step sequence of setup and required equipment etc in the process needed in detail.

Where you buy g1000?
G1000 is self-made. Electronics from hagstrom.
Where can I check for Hagstrom? How much did you invest on this FS setup? Do you have a list of all items?
Moin, wie hast du das G1000 gebaut? Brauche auch eins für meinen Sim.
Die Panels wurden gelasert und graviert. Die Drucktaster und Drehimpulsgeber mit Tastatur-Encoderkarten von Hagstrom verbunden und dadurch zu Tastenimpulsen gewandelt. Fotos und weitere Infos gibts auch auf meiner Homepage.

Thanks! You can open the airplane in X-Planes Plane Maker and delete the object "glass in.obj" under Standard/Misc Objects.

What a beaut! I am planning to do something similar though on a much smaller scale. i7 base box with Arduino controller for the switches and 2x12" displays to run the Garmin. Was looking to source the switches for the panels. Only managed to find the rotary switches. Could not find the dual rotary type switches. Also what kind of switches are you using for the keys? Could you point me out to the source? Thanks.
Thanks! Arduino is a very good choise. The dual rotaries are ALPS EC11 series.The pushbuttons are standard buttons, you can get it on every (online) electronics shop.You can get all stuff including dual rotaries from Leo Bodnar, this is a source for sim electronics.
I managed to source microswitches, dual rotary pots and slide pots (for the TPM) and single rotary pots with switch. Havent been able to source dual rotary encoders with switch - need 5 for the PFD.
Hi Thomas,How did you get to display only G1000 screen on your monitor? If i select from view instrument pfd or mfd it shows me also buttons. But i want to display only G1000 screen.Thanks for your answer already.
The G1000 is not P3D/FSX. It´s special software from Project Magenta and is running on 2 networked PCs: GAGC General Aviation Glass Cockpit

Thank you, I got it from an online pilotshop, there are many online/offline sources to get one.
seems like nice setup, however, IMHO, the vid is no good, you should focus more on the panel and your G100O project you should move the camera slowly and let us get the proper impression
Thanks, and yes, you´re right, but this video should be more an first overview of my setup and how i execute a simple flight. And as stated in the description: This is my first video, flying and filming without a third hand is kind of tricky ;-)
