The wiring you can see at 4:34 is wrong. The car will run when off and it will cause a short circuit when ON.

I bought this YIKESHU case from Amazon and it is a compete junk Drains power and causes lightening bolt error in my Raspberry pi 3b+ Tried all power supplies in the market with even 3A but no solution Contacted retroflag and said that YIKESHU are selling fake ones

Assembly was helpful, but your wiring doesn't make sense: when you turn the switch on, the batteries are going to short!! And it also looks like the motors will run WITHOUT turning on the switch.
I was looking in the comments for someone that could explain that, because I was thinking the same. That motors should rotate for both states of the switch but woll not be in short because the motors are in the middle.

You are 100% correct i just assembled this and i followed the wiring from the film it looked weird but i thought that may be that's some special kind of switch .... but it its a standard breaker switch. the batteries started to heat up when the switch was in off position be cause the whole thing was short circuiting. Then again the motors run ok in the off position because there is a full circuit then .

This installation video sucks. Too much playing with boxes and the screws don't fit. I'm curious why I've got 8 extra screws, 4 extra nuts, and nowhere to put them.

The clips are instead of using screws and the fan is the wrong around it should suck the hot air out of the case, great case though.
Should the fan push or pull the air?
Push air. Hot air rises and with this push method it will force cooler air to be drawn through the cracks at the bottom of the case.
Does the fan run all the time, or can you control it with software?
I bought one of these. As far as I am able to tell there is no way to control the fan speed. It runs full speed all the time and in this case its pretty loud if you have the case out on display, like I do. I'm considering removing it entirely if I can't find a way to throttle it down some. It's very distracting.
try to run the fan at 3.3V. Had the same issue like you, with 3.3V the fan doesn't run in fullspeed
