Yeah. The 83” trailblazer helps too. It would be tight with a stock 170 and any weight. I had my whole family in there with our gear from our Talkeetna strip and about 1/2 tanks.

Random ocean gravel bar in Kachemak Bay just west of Glacier Spit.

I saw a Maule and a Zenith on a gravel bar decided to stop in and say hi and the owner of the Zenith filmed the landing.

Do you mean walk it before landing? I always fly over and check any off airport landing spot before landing. I’ve been on this beach numerous times and know where all the big rocks etc are.

Those guys ended up clawing themselves up off the snow and winning the match. It was the greatest live sporting event come back I’ve ever witnessed

@@anderspokryfki5290 I looked you up on Facebook. We have a few mutual friends. Tate Syverson is my alternate on the slope.

3000’X60, with 1000’ of taxiway on each end. It was originally over 5000’, but we decided it wasn’t necessary to do the full width the full length. But it makes for nice clear approaches on each ends.

This is my friend’s boat and nah, they just played around the boat for a while.

I can’t stand the copyright free music people put in their videos. It’s the worst.

Hearing my own voice cracks me up.

My wife is a realtor and the issue with that airport is none of the properties adjacent to it have access rights. So you can buy a lot butted up against it and not be able to access the runway. Keep your eyes out for an airpark being developed in Homer. I have a reputable source which tells me a pretty big one is in the works.
