My speedometer and odometer no longer works on my 1978 Lincoln Continental 4 door. I wonder if that cable came unhooked from steering column like you show. I found this video because I was trying to see how to remove my dash so I can see what is going on. My mechanic said that speedometer cable is hooked up correctly on transmission and he thinks it has something do with connecting to dash. I just purchase my 1978 Lincoln Continental (Medium Chamois with Burnt Orange Interior), so I am sort of novice when it comes to my Lincoln. Video is very helpful, I plan to add LED Lights like you did here to mine.

My 2002 grand Marquis doesn’t have a screw like that. Subject matter of this video was good but the music was annoying and distracting. I could’ve done without the animation. I just want to concentrate on the job you’re doing not make effort into trying to ignore the distracting music. Why do people do this? Keep posting interesting videos I encourage that.

One is a 6x9 subwoofer and the other is a 6x9 coaxial speaker.. Not the same..

Which fuse is the ignition. I found a diagram inline and said it was #7 but when i wired from the battery to the stereo and #7 fuse with ground stereo came on but the keys werent in.

I installed a retorsound stereo, getting major distortion at higher volume. I am told that the reason by factory and a seperate installer is that the gound is shared is the problem. On the back of the retorsound you have a seperate negetive ground for each speaker. The problem is where the heck to I find the ground wires for each speaker to wire seperatley to the proper channel ground. Where is the wireing path for the rear spearkers? The frount speakers go thru the tube at the frount of the doors, but where to you find access to these wires? Remove the kick plate under the dash, or maybe remove the upper dash? Any advise would be appreciated. thanks Brian

I have 2 sets of those in my charger running mid/mid bass and they get loud AF with no distortion at all, just got all the levels set at the shop with an expert.

Do you like them? I replaced rear pioneer 6x9 running off alpine deck power with the Rockville 6x9 and a 100w alpine amp. It now sounds much worse, the Rockville don’t put out any volume. I bought the baffles as well, but need to get bodywork done before permanent install.

It hasn't run for a very long time, it had a rats nest in the carburettor when I bought it and some nasty lower roof rust from sitting out in several sand storms. My brother and I just got his 1956 Buick Century going, a barn find. It's been sitting for about 30 years. But from this video: you shared a great part that he needs for his "Buick" - the Mr. Gasket Fuel Pressure Regulator #9710. Thanks for that, that will solve his electric fuel pump/fuel pressure issue.
