Before you guys plan a trip or tour, 1st service your two wheeler or for wheeler to avoid these type of issues
I understand your concern, you can’t service your motorcycle for every trip you do. It doesn’t matter if I service, not service or take new motorcycle for every ride. Some problems happens unexpectedly. You can’t blindly rely on your bike or the service technician. Reality is to face these kind of these problems and learn how to overcome such situations, instead of sitting there and blaming “oh god, I should have serviced my motorcycle”
