Join me and my two friends as we embark on an unplanned adventure to Valparai with no itinerary and plenty of wanderlust! Our journey begins with a spontaneous detour off the highway, leading us through the scenic Mettur road. Along the way, we discover the stunning Mettur Dam, the hidden beauty of the Cauvery riverbed, roadside streams, and the serene Kodiveri waterfalls.
Despite a few bike issues, we managed to reach Valparai, where we explored the lush tea plantations and the tranquil Koozhangal river. The highlight of our trip was the breathtaking Valparai to Athirapally road, winding through rainforests and showcasing the majestic Vazhachal and Athirapally waterfalls.
