Trim-A-Slab as a tool for ADA (American with Disabilities Act) compliance
Using Trim-A-Slab to fill gaps and create a ramped transition between slabs can go a long way to meet ADA requirements in your concrete sidewalks and paths.
Gaps over 1/4" wide need to be filled, and vertically shifted, stepped slabs must be smoothly transitioned with a ramp-like feature. in many cases Trim-A-Slab will allow you to satisfy ADA requirements instead of having to grind the taller slab down, saving you time, mess, and money.
Check out Trim-A-Slab.com for more information, and to order any of our products.

Trim A Slab butted joint in 2 mins
Просмотров 2956 месяцев назад
Here we show you a technique for making a butted joint; a way to attach the ends together, to essentially extend the length of a run of Trim-A-Slab. This technique requires no glues, so it is compatible with the 'all weather' installation of Trim-A-Slab. You can alternatively glue these types of joints, but that's for another video! This technique can be done in minutes, as you can see, and the...
Trim-A-Slab Magic Crack filler demo, in real time
Просмотров 38 тыс.6 месяцев назад
Here we demo the application of Magic Crack filler for concrete. This is a very easy to use, DIY repair for those 'spider cracks' found in concrete. Magic Crack is a super-fine powder that flows into these tiny cracks, filling them and making them invisible. Magic Crack doesn't bind the slabs together, it simply fills and makes these cracks 'disappear'. For constant width expansion joints, Trim...

FFP vs SFP and turrets = reticle!
Просмотров 398 месяцев назад
Why First Focal Plane (FFP) is SO much easier to work with, allowing shot correction measurements through the scope, speeding up your zeroing, and you DON'T NEED MATH. Second Focal Plane (SFP) reticles are only useful for measurement at maximum magnification. Turrets matching the reticle is ESSENTIAL. MIL-MIL, MOA-MOA, or even IPHY-IPHY. As long as the turret adjustment is the same as the retic...

To expensive.
USA-made vs.Chinese? Duh! Buying Chinese products is not going to make America great again.
How’s the longevity?
Any comment on how the repair is after 4 months?
You know the American flag should never touch the ground
Guy pours it in then sweeps it out. Use the card dude! What an ass
Thank you
You do not want to apply it to a moist crack
I had hairline cracks that were 20’ long and were so deep it’d take a case of this filler to fill them completely so, wetting beforehand is handy to stop the sand from reaching China. If the slab is cracked through to the bottom it isn’t necessary to fill it completely. And if the dirt has gotten washed out at the bottom of the crack you’ll be there all day pouring it in. No bueno. So I’ve found that pre-wetting is beneficial for sealing a deep crack.
What is this compared to the dap debt crack filler
@@USAFreedom4Ever I have found the liquid looks more obvious and doesn’t last. This stuff looks very close to the color and texture of the concrete. It dries super hard and is more durable. Plus you can sweep it into the crack so residue doesn’t stay where you don’t want it. So, it depends on how picky you are with the end result and how long before you do it again.
@@stuffhappens5681Start by pre-filling your deeper cracks with dry paver sand, then you won’t have to use so much of your filler, and you won’t have to pre-wet it either.
Nicely done!
Is that the 1 3/8?
Dig your videos, Bob. Awesome you had your Dad in this - all the best to you both.

The one between the greasegun and the mp40 is a stemple right? Could you tell me what the gun after the sten is though? I dont recognise it? Is it an other stemple model? We dont have stemples in my country as they where never brought in and even if they where are unnecessary as automatics are restricted period and even though there is a way around it once you do that there arent any restrictions so if you can have automatics you can get any you like.
The 'grease gun' is a Portuguese FBP-48. They took the stock from the grease gun, the upper side of an MP-40, the lower end is a lot like a Sten, and mashed them up. The best parts of all the WW2 SMG's. Between them is indeed a Stemple.
I have one on my keys
Brilliant… I want one
I can piss through 1/8" plywood.
1\8th inch of plywood is not even relatively close to the density and strength of a skull goofy that shit will leave a knot if youre lucky
effective but I would rather some thing a bit more sharp
Blackjack would do more damage
So good! Best video yet!
Beautiful piece. Love the wood furniture
Ive been lucky enough to be able to handle and use a thermal scope for about a week and it is so fun to use.
any more vidos on this?

Talk is cheap.................show your audience how to do it.
Lots of 'How-to' videos on Trim-A-Slab.com!
All I can say is this is a great product, easy to use and it has lasted years so far.
My uncle used one of those when he was fighting with the Partisans in Slovakia in 1945.
How much you oay for a real one. Just curious. I have ww1 and 2 guns but notujng full auto
A transferable one will be likely > $30k. Here's one that sold for $28K in 2020. www.rockislandauction.com/detail/79/552/wwii-german-mp40-submachine-gun
I am a bit suspecious about this product. This product has 5 stars reviews everywhere. Not a single complaint!
I see world war 2 era weapons there and I see Vietnam era as well. Where did you get those
I am an FFL manufacturer; I can make 'em, but I can only sell to law enforcement, US military, or transfer to another FFL. Fully transferrable ones (the Stemple, for example) cost a whole lot more and require the same background check as a suppressor plus a $200 tax to Uncle Sam for you to own one.
Where do you buy the prybar tool? Could not find at Lowe’s
It will be at Lowes.com, Homedepot.com, walmart.com, trimaslab.com among others. We will be in store eventually.
Wood seems like an extraordinarily bad choice for an expansion joint. Not only will it rot but isn't the point of an expansion joint to expand & contract with the temperature changes?
I can’t find TE end he anywhere!
Can you do a video example of a radius
Looks like the template has been moved. Here is the new location: www.trim-a-slab.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Updated-Sizing-Guide.pdf
Does a concrete deck expand horizontally and vertically (thickness)…..or just horizontally? Thank you
Will option 3 keep grass and weeds from growing out?
Very Informative. Thank you good sir.
Uh
Huh
I was looking to find out what those ugly black spacers between the house and the patio and driveway that are wet and crumbly and now growing things. Ick! I wonder if you answer questions: what do you do about a block window that is below grade? Can I pour something down inside? I’m paranoid about water and mold! Thanks!
What an awesome fix!
Thanks for the explanation. I always wondered why there's a piece redundant wood, like a tonsil that doesn't do anything.
Easier way to remove the wood joints. Drive long decking screws (3-3.5") into the wood and use a "wonder bar" to gently pry out the wood. As it begins to come out, drive additional screws in pry in other places. I usually get a double wide driveway wood joint out in 3-4 pieces and in less than 10 minutes. No electricity needed, use a battery drill/impact driver, so work even on long driveways or sidewalks far from an electrical plug.
This a good tip too
Is the 1/2 inch product available in standard edge??
$1.50 a foot.. more like $3.50 a foot.. is it made of gold?
Wood is guaranteed to rot. Use sika self leveling with closed cell foam backer rod.
You don’t necessarily have to use Sika, Vulkem and master seal both make quality self leveling sealant too. ( I have installed many miles of flat work sealants). But you are absolutely correct.
At 3:30, If we installed the central one first, running from road to garage door, why does this part of video show lateral one went down first? I’m not nick picking. I’m about to buy this material and take on such project so would like to know how it’s suppose to go down. Thank you. Nevermind, you explained it literally right after that part of video. 😅
Ok, one last question: Would you install trim a slab first? Or would you apply concrete sealer on the driveway concrete first? Pro & con with each approach? Thank you!
If I use this product on my stamped concrete will it hold up to the spray chemicals used for sealing or should the product be removed prior to sealing and install after the sealing of the concrete drys ?
One year seems like a short time to observe shrinkage. How many years will this product last because when you are talking about 108 linear feet it isn't cheap.
Your web site does not offer the tapered edge option.
