As I understand, the movie was based on the true story of April Parks, a Guardian in Las Vegas. I’m certain Hollywood took big liberties.

Several years ago a neighbor told me a chilling story about an old lady who gave who gave the power of attorney to a nephew who managed to get on her good side but didn't have her best interests at heart . She was drugged with medication so that she wasn't lucid , declared incompetent to make her own decisions , and placed. In a nursing facility Her plies we're ignored by the nursing home facility by the time she came to her own senses as her nephew seized her assets . Fortunately my neighbor advocated on her behalf and helped to get her out of that situation but it makes me scared to trust even a family member to act on my behalf . I have a good relationship with my brothers but I've heard cautionary tales that you sometimes see a another side to people when money is involved.

I am living proof that it is exactly this and so much worse !!! The deep truth is it's more that judges and officers of law . They are part of it and are only defending their crimes. It's even more sick to see there is a post put together to defend the very true story this is! I have been trapped and stolen my due process rights and stolen my millions thru a illegal immigrant that is a cold Vian dangerous criminal . I was staged and tortured for 10 years now ... by the disgraced Catherine m Fitzpatfick and the super corruption of law that absue power and filtered thru her own partners owned law form at start and stark law firm. There us no protection!! My home was stole. That had no mortgage and my livelihood at hand . Now I am homeless and constantly gang stalked by this eveyday to date . Sos I need help getting my freedom back ...it's actually worse than how this post is making UT out to be . The cases get blocked and redacted and sealed that is how they get away with it. Even in the documentary true true story that was released a couple years before this blockbuster movie called THE GUARDIAN DOC ... IT ALL ABOUTVTHE .MONEY ANS TAKE OVER OF THE PERSON TGAT WORLED THEIR ENTIRE LIFE TO BE STOLEN FOR THE GIANS OF TEH ATTORMEY THE JUDGE AND TEH CASE WORKER AND DOCTOR. EVERY CASE IS UNIQUE AND THEY USE THESE PSYCHOPATH TALING OVER A NARRATIVE TO MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE HEROS WHEN ALL INVOVLED ARE DEMONS!!

Do you all work for the lawyers because everything you are saying is false and deceptive. I personally lived through this and it's real. We had evidence that this goes on all the time. We had a power of attorney in place and it was circumvented. The judges are complicit. Everybody works together to scam the little people. But you are doing a dis-service to the people who watch this trying to make everyone believe that this is not possible. It happens every day to normal people. Everything is corrupt. But for someone who has actually lived through this, and then to hear you all come on here to say that things like this are not possible, you are just like these corrupt people or maybe worst because you helping them catch people off guard. I personally know of a female caregiver in Las Vegas who specializes in near-death men caregiving, She stated to me that "men are so gullible and I get what I waht". She told me two examples. One man shortly before his death had his will re-written to give him a life estate in his $850,000.00 home, a one-time $250,000.00 lump sum, with a $2,000.00 life-long payment. I had been in this home as she told me this story. 2) She convinced another man to change the deed, because of her love, of $500,000.00 which she took legal possession of the home after his death. Which happened. These predators are lurking here and in every industry.

Marla Grayson was partially based on the real life April Parks of Las Vegas who went to peoples homes and took them straight to lock down facilities and legally separated them from their families. It is true!!!!! April Parks is now in prison, sentenced from 14 to 50 years and should be in prison for life. She destroyed people and got rich on it and she is hardly the only one. Additionally, there are lawyers lining up to be appointed ad litems to milk estates. It is SOP throughout most of the country. I know, I lived through it with my mother.
