I've always loved the Everly Brothers!! I had a big crush on them, especially Don!! Was watching them yhe night they had a big fallout on stage, and parted ways!! I couldn't believe it! And it was years before they made up!!
That has got to be one of the best guest performances that Phil and Don ever did and I have seen most of them!
They were so handsome!❤😊
I have always loved Steve Allen. He was one of the funniest men and a wonderful pianist. I loved Gravy Waltz and Hey there mister how's your sister? Does she still go sock! Smock! 😂
I didn't know Charlie Brown animations were made that early.
Funny thing on the Boston accent. Sitting with a group from various parts of the country, the subject got around to cars. The fellow from Boston chimed in with something about his "caa" and the fellow from Missouri came back with the remark, "I don't know about you but back home we milk our "caas".
10 minutes performance, the early times of tv
I Never interested, Who's fucking whom !!! But I interested, what He Done ! /ín concert,on LP, CD, film, etc./ What's a shame ! Mea culpa, mea Maxima culpa !!!Ashes keep fallin'on my head...etc.M❤
Fine. Oh, how we took all the good entertainment for granted back then…great show, great talent.
In Just Two More Days, I Would Turned 10 Years Old! *Mr. Ford ALWAYS Ended Each Show With *A Hymn.
Most people alive today have heard an elder Tony Bennett deliver a sincere, measured performance but are not aware of his early exuberant, fast-paced power as shown in the last song, "Sing You Sinners".
This is so wonderful! 😂❤
Do you have the April 7th 1957 episode ?
Loved Robert Horton's Singing And Acting! RIP Robert❤
12:20 - "A fine gentlement", "Girls take a look. How's that for June bate?". "Tab, Don't you ever think about marriage?" "You know buddy if you were a rooster you'd have the whole world for a hen house"...LOL, what a reversal of words right. I'm sure they meant a cock house, you know male roosters wink wink. "Being an actor you have to keep a front all the time"..wow, LOL. "Its a gay and exciting life". You know, I can't stop to think that these writers were having fun with the idiot t.v. audience of the time. Its filled with so much innuendoes its embarrassing and so obvious. Sad how they fooled the public. Just like the govt is doing now.
Laugh track??????
The intro is postmodern pop culture. “Old Buttermilk Sky” is one of my all-time songs. ❤

Tony didn't get through his cigarette when he did his ballad. Apparently he had to drop and extinguish it before he got to the high notes at the end of song.
Thank you so much for this!!!

Ernie's making a very big sundae for little Brenda.
Funny skit.
Ernie delivered a spirited performance of "Davy Crockett ". His comedy monologues were ribtickling and family-friendly.
Old peapicker Ernie had a very fine choir; they sang superbly and more suits, ties and dresses!
Classic "golden age" television!
I wish Shari could have sung one of the Gershwin songs!
A lot of laughs with this show.
Süsse Sprechstimmen😊
So blutjung und süss😊
14:56- featuring the voice of Shep Menken.
God bless you, Ernie. You're the best.
so fun! thanks for sharing
Jesse White was later known as the Maytag man in commercials.
6 pennies in 1961 is basically $300,000 in 2024 money 😐
I am from the Philippines, child of the psychedelic era. I was very young then and remember watching Tab Hunter in the early 1960s TV. Handsome and charming Tab, no doubt about it.
Isn’t it amazing that Both The Peanuts (Charles Schulz) and Lamb chop (Shari Lewis) were both starting out on the Ford Show. Early 60s a booming decade of production success it seems.
The late great Paul Frees, voice actor, doing the recording.
Blech!
Ernie and Tony are the best duo and singers ever. RIP to the both of them.
I watched her and lamp chop in the late 60s.
Wow did he say that falcon wagon gets 30mpg???
thanks for posting the whole thing! this is fantsatic
omg mel brooks stole young frankenstein from steve allen
The cars were beautifully engineered.
I love the chassis from 50s-late 60s
19:46 why does this remind me of pingu

"The Ford Show" was named not for host Tennessee Ernie but for its sponsor, the Ford Motor Company.
