@M-no4wr it can be done simply by unscrewing top bolts on fender and moving fender. Sorry my english is not so good but i hope you understand what im talking about. That headlight can be pulled out even without anything removed but you can scratch it . Moving fender away couple inches makes loads of space to remove headlight.

@jamesdean7552 watch the last part of the video. You'll need to raise uo the plastic clips from the gaitor and then clip the gear knob on, then as one complete unit, push it on

@tianzhe1129 you are best to use a diagnostics machine to tell you where the fault is otherwise you will be throwing money at potentially the wrong area

@@atcarsales Turns out the motor in the headlight units are faulty. Do I need to replace the entire unit or I can change the motor to save some money?

This is incorrect, you have a front sensor which is nearside front (UK) and a rear one which is on the opposite side. A diagnostics machine will point you in the right direction as to which one is needed. You'll need a diag machine to calibrate anyway.... Good luck with your repair

@@atcarsales Thanks - that makes sense as I did just have a peek and could only see one at the front (actually, and helpfully, in front of the wheel arch trim so no need to remove that!). Will look for the rear one too to see if that looks shoogly (the front one looks pretty decent to be fair). Thanks!

@@atcarsales Quick update...you know when you have a look at something and you mutter under your breath.....'gotcha you bugger'. Well, just done that - looked for the rear one and immediately saw the arm link hanging down - sheared clean in two. Probably a pothole. I did call Ford. They did a bit of tooth sucking and said it would probably be headlight replacement. To be fair though, they had not had the chance to do any diagnostics. I can swap out the unit but will still need it to be calibrated, but at least it does not look like a full headlamp swap out. Thanks for the video and advice.

@bikesharebags5192 superb! A new headlight would've cost a fair wack in comparison to your actual faulty part. Glad to have been of assistance. If you're in the Northamptonshire area, I would be happy to calibrate for you.

@@atcarsales finally got around to fitting it and it seems to have self-calibrated. Had someone drive in front of me and had no issues (where before they were dazzled) and oncoming cars are no longer flashing me. Thanks for the offer but seems to be ok, fingers crossed! (as an aside, bought a Volvo part...less than half the price of Ford but identical - comes from the days when Ford and Volvo shared platforms).

You can certainly try that as the easier and quicker option which I found halfway through! I'm not sure moving the headlight actually helps

It certainly seems it could well be. The best way to find out for certain is to run a diagnostics and/or remove and check the levelling sensor and feel for free and easy movement as per the video

This video is taken in England and this particular vehicle lived in Scotland for quite some time. It's very common here for cars to rust....

My 2007 is almost as rusty and that came from Newcastle, up toward the Scottish border..

I'm getting the same issue, "Key not detected" only occasionally though.
