Loved your flosstube. Cinnamon Stars is definitely my first love pattern of cross stitch. It’s like I’m too scared to start it though lol. I think I have found a cloth for it. It really is what drew me into cross stitch though. I’m fairly new so I don’t have many projects but my fall one I’m currently working on is The Quilted Scarecrow by Lori Holt. My goodness he’s a big dog. 😅 I’m afraid I will be carrying him over to next year. I’m ready to do some Christmas stitching. I also have stacks of Primrose that needs some attending too. Safe travels and Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you for sharing. Congratulations on Rosie! She is so cute. Favorite fall stitch so far is Feast of Friendship by Blackbird Design, not finished as yet. Take care. ❤❤
Wonderful job on your first flosstube! Look forward to seeing your progress 💖
So many beautiful finished pieces. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing. Happy stitching!😊
Just watched your video. Really enjoyed it. Lots of great projects. Look forward to seeing your progress.
I enjoyed your first Flosstube and congratulate you, first on your marriage, and second on taking on this new chapter in your stitching life! How exciting! It seems to me we think alike when it comes to our choices of designers. There are so many excellent, talented ones! I tend to gravitate toward the Primrose Cottage, Brenda Gervaise, Teresa Kogut, Shepherd’s Bush, etc. styles of designs. Bent Creek is another favorite of mine, and I’m currently on the last few stitches of “Nativity Row.” I consider myself to be a slow stitcher, so I give myself a head start on the next season. As for suggestions on your Flosstube, I wouldn’t change a thing! It would be nice if your mom popped in as a guest one of these days. That would be fun! Just subscribed! See you next time, and in the meantime, happy stitching!! ❤
Love love love your new friend!!!🩷🐾. She is so stinkin cute! Your stitching is looking great. Looking forward to seeing your progress on cinnamon stars. I like fall stitching but Halloween is my fav, and I would have to say Field Mouse Hollow by Brenda Gervais is really one of my favorites.
@@kristawilliams6375 I love all Brenda Gervais’s patterns! I haven’t seen Field Mouse Hollow. Will check it out. Halloween is my fav too - I don’t have much fall stitching to decorate with which is one of the reasons I’m taking November to stitch all fall! Hope you are doing well!
The "Give Thanks" pillow is so cute. My favorite autumn pattern that I have stitched is "Olivia Ochreleiph" by Silver Creek Samplers.
@@KEBStudioCreations thank you! I love how give thanks turned out & it was a quick stitch too. I haven’t seen Olivia Orchreleiph before, I’ll look it up. Thank you for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving.
@@KEBStudioCreations just looked Olivia up! WOW! She’s beautiful. 😍
Hi Rachel! Loved your update and everything you showed! Can’t wait to hear your experience at the Attic-I’ve never been! My fav fall stitch is currently a WIP; it’s Autumn Towne by Autumn Lane Stitchery.
Love the puppy!! So sweet and such a great companion for your other dog.
@@melsmith5833 thank you!! They are loving each other. Its great to watch them play hard and then cuddle lol
I went to Stitcher's Paradise on Friday when I was in Vegas! I thought of you the whole time I was there... it is a wonderful store... I had a hard time deciding what to leave there!!! Rosie is an adorable addition to your family!!!
@@JanetDoucette so fun!!! I was actually at Stitchers Paradise on Friday too - I ran in for a few flosses! Next time you are in town, I’ll meet ya up there. Always more fun to shop with a friend. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
I really liked stitching Welcome Autumn by Primrose and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday - good food, family and friends just breaking bread and enjoying each other's company -love it.
@@lisasullender9628 thank you for leaving a comment! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday too. Enjoy!
Hi Rachel. I'm loving all of your projects as always. Those puppies are so adorable I wish I could have one myself. Sure wish I would have known you were going to be at the Attic I'm about 10 minutes from there. Could have come over to say hello in person. I've never been to the old town Scottsdale LNS. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Michelle
@@hvpta0813 hi Michelle! I’m going to be at The Attic on Tuesday (tomorrow) at 12pm if you are able to make it! I’d love to say hi & meet in person.
@@pacificcoaststitchersorry I couldn't make it. Hope you enjoyed The Attic.
You are such a natural Rachel! Really enjoy yr channel & can see the excitement in yr new found hobby. Bring that cousin along! The little pink box will keep yr notions secure from curious puppies; I have two kitties that love to explore. Blessing & safe traveling to you & John 💝
@@DeborahDeLisle thank you for the sweet comment! I bet your two kitties go after your floss! Blessings to you, too & happy Thanksgiving.
Nice first FlossTube! I love watching people who not only stitch, but FFO their projects... Love seeing all the Primrose! I'm also an in-season stitcher.
Rachel you seem to be cutting out a bit! But I love what you’ve done! Fun! Fun! Fun!❤️
Really enjoying your flosstubes! I am excited to visit the Attic in Phoenix next February. Would love to hear what you think. I think of myself as a Pacific Coast stitcher too - which is what drew me to your channel - but I am way north of you on Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada. I look forward to joining you on your journey and like many of the same stitches as you. Thanks so much for sharing your stitching with us!
Just found you and loved your video. Am pretty jealous that you get to visit The Attic! Have fun. Shop, shop, shop! Be safe and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Oh my holy heck, I was SO excited to see Lulu, but then you added Rosie❤️🐶🐾 I love to see all of the Flosstube Furbabies. I was SO excited to see your second video and I was glad that you offered the reminder for Sip and Stitch; I have been off one day this entire week and hadn’t set my alarm! Our stitchy styles are very similar. In fact, I just finished Welcome to the North Pole by Lindsey of PCS. My favorite Fall stitch was Autumn by Janlynn (now Kooler designs). It was a LOT of work so it is currently my profile picture🤣 I am working on Winter right now. I have Summer complete too, I have to do many smaller projects to stay motivated as I KNOW that I will be thrilled when I display them each season. Enjoy your trip!
Hi Rachel! Thanks for sharing your love of Primrose Cottages stitches. I’ve been stitching Prairie Schooler Autumn Samplers and the smalls called Acorns. Happy Thanksgiving!
I haven’t completed a ton of fall stitches yet, but I did just finish Pumpkin Kisses by Primrose. I couldn’t put it down so I ended up buying another similar pattern by her. You’ve completed quite a few fall ones that are on my list. Congratulations on the new puppy. What joy they bring!
You did a fabulous job on floss tube #1 and I enjoyed seeing all your finished projects and WIPs. Congratulations on your marriage and move to a new home! I’ve been stitching the Wee Santa 2024 from Heart in Hand and also those cute mini monthly pillows from Primrose Cottage, doing November’s pillow currently with those cute 🦃 s! Those mini pillow patterns travel with me to doctor offices since they are small and easily fit in my bag of supplies! Looking forward to following your floss tube Rachel and happy stitching!😊
Your stitching and finishing is beautiful! Thanksgiving and Fall are my least favorite seasons 😂 so I have not stitched much. I think my favorite is a freebie from Hands On Design? That says “grateful, thankful, blessed”. That’s how I feel every day and I enjoy seeing that stitch come out every November. Do I have a ton of Fall & Thanksgiving in my stash? Yes. Idk when I’ll get to it though 🙂. Enjoy The Attic!! I’m very jealous…I’ve wanted to go for years. But, I’m coming to Vegas to see the Eagles at the Sphere in March and I cannot wait for a trip to Stichers Paradise 😊
Great 2nd video. Lulu and Rosie are so cute. I have 2 dogs as well. 1 is 15 years old, and the other is about 6 month old. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving as well because it is so close to my birthday. Haven't really stitches any fall designs so no favorites yet.
Just found you…you’re awesome! Your lil pups are so cute too. Have a great vacation in Arizona. I was born in Phoenix but have been in California most of my life. Your weather should be spectacular! I haven’t stitched much fall…usually go from Halloween straight to Xmas. Thx for sharing all your stitching!
I am just starting to stitch Fall. I normally do huge pieces that take a few years to do. I'm beginning to do smalls now that I am older and have to use a magnifier. Love your videos...not too long and lots of content. I am primarily a quilter. Your sewing will get easier.
Oh my goodness! Rosie & Lulu are so cute! I got to meet Sophie the other day too. 🥰 I’m so excited for you that you’re going to the Attic. You are going to love it! One of my favorite Fall stitches is Cinnamon Stars because it has a memory attached to it. It was my first stitch that was a little bit harder or larger I should say. And I had bought the fabric from a needlework shop in South Carolina when my daughter graduated boot camp back in early 2020. Came home and stitched it during that historical time and finished it in about a month. Safe travels & have a great Thanksgiving with your family. ❤
The Instagram name you have in your show notes is incorrect.
@@grandmaB1948 oh no! I will double check it right now. My instagram is @pacificcoaststitcher. Thank you for letting me know.
It’s hard to pick just one fav fall stitch, but top of mind is Pumpkins 4 Sale by Little House Needleworks!
You do beautiful work and I enjoy your videos. I love that you and your mom stitch together. Thank you for showing your set up. I’m still trying to figure out how to actually do the video, get the lighting right and even edit the video. Great job!
Great 2nd video. The pups are adorable. Have a great trip and Happy Thanksgiving.
Great first flosstube! New subscriber here! Can’t wait to follow along in your stitchy journey! 💕💕💕 I love that met on the internet piece-my husband and I also met on the internet 😅
So excited to watch ;your new video! We also have a. cinnamon colored mini golden doodle! They sure do have a ton of personality! My favorite fall stitch is "Jolly Jack" by All Through the Night! Look him up, he is adorable!
Hello! I have only one fall piece. And I just finished it! Well almost...not a FFO. It's a Blackbird Designs Spell of the Moon (Winds of Autumn). Maybe it's more Halloween? I recently started, and find that I have more and more patterns because every one is simply adorable! I'm working on Primrose Cottage Autumn Quaker using a creamy white floss on a Pumpkin linen. I should really know the names, but don't! I'm also trying to stitch a few smallish Christmas gifts. Slow and steady Betty here!!! Love your flosstube and your puppies are precious! Congratulations on both!❤
Hi Rachel! My favorite fall pattern that I have stitched is Quaker Pumpkins from hello from Liz Matthews. Great progress on cinnamon stars- I have put in some stitches in mine as well!
@@LARolfs I have Quaker Pumpkins by Hello From Liz Matthew’s in my stash! I should pull it out for next year. Love your profess on cinnamon stars. Thank you for sharing with me!
Great job.
Really enjoyed your first Flosstube! I love stitching Primrose Cottage, too. I hope you’re getting settled in your new home. It must be amazing to have an LNS so close. 🪡 🧵 🍁
Nice to meet you! I love your finishes. The standard for framing is like if you want an inch around, then on the bottom it should be 1 1/2 to 2 inches. This pulls the eye up to the work. You will notice with a bigger top border, your eye goes to that empty area. You are a sweet young lady and I am glad you found a good LNS. My closest store is over an hour away. Your husband is a good guy helping you out and encouraging you.
@@cheryldowd6916 thank you so much for the framing tips - I need them :) I was disappointed with how much space there was at the top, but we live and learn, right?! So nice to meet you! Thank you for leaving a comment.
I enjoyed seeing all of your projects. Great job. Doesn't look like a 'first' video. I'm trying to get some Christmas ornaments done to decorate my small tree. First time I'm doing that this year. I'll be starting my own flosstube in a couple of weeks so I'm trying to get organized. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Good luck.
Welcome to flosstube! I hung on to Halloween stitching for about a week after…now I’ve moved to a mix of fall and Christmas!
Congrats on your 1st flosstube! I love Stitchers Paradise! I could shop there all day. Can’t wait to go to Primrose when they open. Your projects look great. I’m also a seasonal stitcher. 🧵🪡
Hi, my name is Jo. I have really enjoyed your first Flosstube video. I have subscribed. Looking forward to more of your videos. Congrats on your marriage. My husband and I were married 64 years. I started cross stitching many years ago, and it has been a life saver for me now. Certainly has evolved since I began in the 80's. I'm loving all the new designs and fabrics. Aida was all there was available when I first started...and, to tell the truth, I still prefer stitching on it!
Great 1st flosstube. I am working on the Nov. mini from Primrose. I'm a slow sticher so 1 project at a time for me. But have a few kitted to be ready. Congrats on you marriage.
Cinnamon Stars is in my stash and I look forward to seeing your progress. 😀 Just curious, where on the Pacific coast did you live before relocating to Las Vegas?
Congratulations on getting married and starting your Flosstube channel. I really liked everything you showed and look forward to seeing more of your projects. I wish I had an LNS since Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Joanns have such a limited supply of cross stitch items.
What a great frist video. Can't wait to see more updates from you. Congrats on getting married.
Great video!
What a wonderful way to start my day with your first flosstube step on your journey! You are a natural and I loved hearing your story. I am a retired teacher who started cross stitching over 58 years ago, so I love hearing your story! Needless to say, cross stitching has evolved and blossomed into a beautiful art! It’s exciting to enjoy and the community aspect is such a joy! I’m excited for you…and excited for us to travel with you!
@@susanbooth551 awwww. You are so sweet. Thank you for leaving a comment and sharing with me. 58 years!!! Wow. I can only imagine the projects you’ve stitched over the years. So fun! Wonderful to meet you and thank you for following along.
Wonderful first video! Congratulations on your marriage! Look forward to more and thanks for sharing your xs with us all. You're going to have a big following, I just know it!
I've stitched that dirty anne's we met on the internet. I loved every stitch of it.
@@kansascitystitcher-samanth2165 me too! Such a fun stitch!
