Shoot me a sub and follow my on insta @ stuffinseattle. I own Seattle first online only consignment store and consistently have great vintage pieces for sale.

FURNITURE FLIPPING: Refinishing and flipping a marketplace dresser for $700
Love this tutorial! You inspired me to do the same on our HEMNES dresser. Would you mind linking the hardware/pulls you used? I want to make sure I’m getting the right thickness since there isn’t a ton of space between the top of the drawer and the dresser
You are criminally underrated! Nice work sir!
Thank you! I appreciate it a ton
Looks amazing sir!
that chair isnt even 1300 dollars new...
You can’t find this chair new anymore. That’s the point of vintage 🙌
I think youd get better viewer retention if you had a short clip of the finished product right in the beginning
Just posted a video with this in mind!
@@Coltonwaynebrown wish you the best
900 wow
Beautiful
What's the product you poured on the sanded wood ?
potpourris! The dried flowers in the lamp.
Very cool! If I had a better gauge of how it would sell I would have bought!
It was fun shopping with you. Hope you make a good profit.
Dude, stop using your phone while driving.
You are making me sick, moving the camera the way you do!!!
Looks nice! One of the few pieces from IKEA that are still solid wood...
Thank you! This and the Tarva are both solid wood. Soft wood, but wood nevertheless
Wow Colton that's a lot of thirfting. Do you sell on ebay? Can't find your store. name. New watcher here.
Hello! I actually took some time off of videos to open my vintage store in Seattle.
You're competing with people too though! People trying to furnish their homes. Honestly, flippers ruined everything.
I could see somewhere between 5-700 for it, but that's compressed board and chintzy wood. You did a great job but it's not wirth 1k.
Is it sold?
That aint worth 1000
It’s worth whatever somebodies willing to pay for it
This is so lovely!! Thank you for keeping the wood finish on it.
The Afghan 😩love those things
That African sculpture is Vintage soap stone called Circle of love...worth around $300
I’ll go see if it’s still there 😅
You need a new drill bit loo
It actually looks nicer with the different colored borders! Makes it more unique and stand out from the typical singular color most dressers come in
I thought so too. Wouldn't have known that someone was actually trying to hide that if he hadn't told us.
Question, how durable is Danish Oil? I usually always seal wood with a poly topcoat, but I'm curious about this technique. Beautiful refinishing!

I agree with the previous comments - work on your video skills
When dealing with new poly, use a screen type sanding mesh on your sander, like what's used on drywall. It's not overly aggressive in that you will have deep scratches, but it clears out quick so it keeps cutting.
I wonder if it would help to set a limit to your hours of work for each project, if it's more than that, perhaps cut losses and give it away for however much. Good job tho
Slow down. Camera fast. Can’t watch. Dizzy
Looks so good 👀
OMG I would love to have that!!
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Balance, personal boundaries, and awareness are beautiful. ❤
I noticed you used oxalic acid? After it dries, wash it off with water. Then when that dries, sand it. That stuff is dangerous on your lungs if the particles get in the air...like seriously bad. Good job! Love when the oil hits it and that grain pops!
It looks so much better! For future recordings, it would be helpful for viewers if the lighting as increased. I couldn’t see your painting techniques & I would have liked to see it. Thanks.
Wow that's beautiful!!
You move your phone too fast! Good finds
I'll slow it down in the future! Thanks for helping me get better :)
You flipped the camera around too much you make me dizzy.
Difficult to find beautiful real wood furniture at a decent price these days. I love this one !
Where do you sell the furniture? Tyia
Do you have to have a business licence to flip furniture? The piece looks great!
Sort of depends! To do a few on Facebook marketplace not really
That is so BEAUTIFUL!!❤
Thanks for dropping game
Happy to!
Not sure that is mid century. Looks more 70sbto Mr. But you did a great job and I am so happy to see a real restoration, not paint.
If you had Gold leaf paper I would have put that on the Green and I would have did some sort of pattern with the gold leaf on the sides.
You're doing a great job! I'm working on a small drawer unit just now. X
That's beautiful! You're right; I could probably do this but I loathe sanding. It's so long and boring 😅 I admire your patience and dedication.
Great find!
Wow, it looks one of a kind. Amazing work 👏
Great tip. Beautiful chairs! Thank you.
That is a beautiful piece!
