Appreciate the fan service. Scene transitions are decent. Dialogue is still a pretty campy, but I like the direction you guys are going.
The camp comes with the medium. You can only get so serious with machinima before it falls flat due to lack of actual human expression, so we go for a more “R-rated GI Joe cartoon” approach, which I feel really fits well in this realm. Also, the Ava character is our most well known one and is famous for her dry delivery and one liners, so that might also be what you’re hearing. There are actually some scenes in her own series where she gets really serious and emotional (and I write it like I would an actual movie) - it works well, but only in small bursts when it comes to machinima, I feel.
