I have used Epoxy clay to make the casting and for texture paste I have added fine sand in it to get grainy texture on the base ❤ Thank you for watching 😊❤

I used liquid acrylics from the Finnabair product line from Prima for the colors. I also used gilding foil on the roofs in gold or silver and metallic waxes. I'm happy you found the video useful 😊 Denese

I use Finnabair's heavy body gel by Art Basics. You can use any type of gel medium and most pastes will work to glue. I prefer this one as I love how 'sticky' it is, so when I place a piece it stays in place while I am working. It is also highly durable.

Yes, you could use any kind of resin. Gesso will work on pretty much any surface, including plastic and glass.

@@DesignWithZuri Thanks, I have a few pieces I didn't like the outcome and seeing your videos it gave me the idea to try to refurbish them...is there need to sand them for the gesso to have a grip/bond with the epoy resin?

Not as familiar with epoxy resin but did some research. It doesn't indicate you need to sand first but does say that you should use a primer like gesso. Found this blog it may be helpful for you: salvagesecretsblog.com/how-to-paint-on-top-of-epoxy-resin/

It is polyurethane resin, the Smooth Cast 321. It is a 2 part resin that cures in 30 minutes and turns white when cured.
