    Interest rates effect debt, so one must strive to eliminate debt. No mortgage loan, no car loans, no home equity loans no re-fi loans. Keep your credit cards paid off. Drive a used car that is 10 years old and there are many of them out there for sale that will last a long time if you have a good mechanic check the car/truck out ahead of time.

    My rule is never put on a credit card that you cannot pay off within at least 1 or 2 months (I have a zero interest rate until November). Suze's book, The Road To Wealth, helped me become debt-free and I am doing everything I can to remain in this position. I met her years ago and she autographed my book. She said I was a beautiful man. She is a gorgeous lady too! 😁

    I disagree. Everyone can agree that literally EVERYTHING costs more - as in double. Food prices are out of control. Just daily living. It’s not just interest rates. It’s people just trying to live.

  • @ravenclaw783
    @ravenclaw783 6 месяцев назад

    The Founding Fathers in the 18th century foretold their fear of government having the power to issue currency. This is why. The reason why everything is more expensive is because congress spend recklessly and when they don't have any anything to spend, they simply print more money thereby decreasing the value of our dollar which in turn increases the price of everything else. Our government is ROBBING us left, right, and center and they will not stop until the whole thing comes crashing down. We aren't far off at this rate.

  • @autodidact16

    Terrible advice. Absolutely terrible. Pay off your high interest debt first, then save money. There's no point in saving money if you're accumulating interest, and if an emergency happens, you can use debt instead of saved money. Paying off your high interest debt before saving means you have more money in the long run. This advice is so harmful, and it's coming from someone who has no business giving financial advice.

    People who overextended themselves always cry foul but only after they realize their mistake. Their suffering is not a result of them being bad people, its just a consequence of poor judgement. Use it as a learning experience. Unfortunately some mistakes affect everyone because some people never learn.

  • @ebones6957
    @ebones6957 6 месяцев назад

    What they need to do is lower the interest rate on necessities like , mortgages, used vehicles, and healthcare while raising interests rates on credit cards, and eliminate home equity credit. People need to focus on needs and less on wants. You don’t need to remodel your house or need to buy a new car. It’s ok to buy wants if you have the cash to buy, this helps the economy. Spending on credit just causes inflation making things cost more for everyone. Live within your means!
