Fast forward 4 years and Cape Air isn’t in service anymore in Manistee. I now fly Concord Airlines Jet service out of Manistee and I couldn’t be happier with them. The discussion about going into GRR or not would have been an amazing decision. GRR serves 28 cities non stop and essentially the world through the major carriers. Aviation and the travel industry boomed like crazy as soon as the pandemic started to end. I think it would have been a great option for N Michigan passengers

I would like to make a motion to ban any and all photos/sketches/paintings of any boats moving through the manistee river channel going forward. Eileen Postma now owns all intellectual property rights of any artistic works derived from the manistee river and all boats within it😂😂😂.

For all the kitty poster cliques being spouted here. You guys sure piled on and demonized the one guy who wanted to tackle some issues bigger than polo shirts and painting sewer grates. He had some actual issues that needed to be solved, you all attacked him, called him names, then cried at the end as though you were the victims. Wow. This is amazing No wonder Ludington is a superior town in every way.

The issue of the mural is not about whether your friends think it’s cute. It’s a legal issue. It is a copyright issue. You paid someone to paint a mural and they painted a copyrighted image and passed it off as their own original work. This isn’t about “positive feedback” from your lady friends. It’s a LEGAL ISSUE. Why is it so hard to explain/wrap your head around?’

The comment about the neighborhood people having yards as big as parks and wanting a "private" park to walk their dogs is absolutely outrageous! The green space would be for the entire community of Manistee. How is that private? Also the neighborhood people as you call them worked hard to pay for their homes and pay high taxes as well. The size of their yards should have nothing to do with not needing a green space. Furthermore, if your proposals are nothing but fluff and you go any direction you please; then why would anyone vote yes? I'm not voting for something that can be turned in any direction. I don't support unethical practices.

Why won't the City of Manistee release the police incident report and the use of force report for the slaying of Lee Pat Milks in his own home by a city official whose identity has been protected by those who would unlawfully withhold these records from the public? These city officials need to wipe this Manistee citizen's blood off their hands by coming clean with the records and telling the public why this official was on Milks' property in the first place and why he wouldn't leave when asked.
