That’s one decent 35 year old Weed eater trimmer. I have a GTI 15T version of the weedeater.That was back in the day when things were much more serviceable compared to the cheap weed whackers that people buy at Walmart today. The GTI 15s were the most dependable weedeaters, and I’m surprised it still works perfect after all these years. One thing you have to be really careful with is the ethanol content in the gasoline, as it will slowly eat your engine and the carburetor. But these were the real weed eater trimmers. Now we all realize the old stuff still is the best that you can stick with.

I have one just like it. It’s on my Locke reel mower, a Triplex. I rebuilt the carburetor and it runs great! Cranks on the first pull every time.

I just bought the same grass trimmer a week ago. It is in great shape. I paid $65 for it. It came with the Shakespeare Ugly head, extra trimmer line, bolts and nuts.

In outdoors far away from powerlines can hear VLF natural radio. :) In house don't work.

Solid machine. The cassette assy is easy to take apart and spool in a regular generic ribbon.

I just found one of these machines, a 1969, for $35, in excellent condition. The case is unique. Given its finish and construction, one would expect a zipper, but it has a latch.

3:05 has to be a 3 way type

Does this machine use the same ink Ribbon than machanic typewriter or it uses an special kind of Ribbon ink

I've often thought this type of movement as being very underrated. They seem very reliable and a single C-type battery will last an entire year on these. Our new, cheap wall clocks that take a single AA battery often drain them quicker and I find myself changing them after a few months. These older movements are pretty neat with their blend of balance and earlier transistor technology.

All I want to know is can I use 100 watt incandecent bulbs in a fixture that calls for 60watt bulbs safely as my vision is not as good anymore. And I've tried led bulbs but my clothes don't match when I go outside or go to work, so I know led's don't give good results.
