@@asmarkpro hey, thanks for the reply, i did the replacement successfully and the macbook does start now. But for some reason the mouse and keyboard are unresponsive. What could possibly be the reason? Could it be because the macbook wasnt in use for atleast like 6 months and then the battery was replaced?

Now whenever the macbook is powered on, The screen shows a faded black n white mouse and then trackpad alternatively, and the cursor is on the top left corner. The only thing i could do is power the device off and nothing else.

Yes, you can also choose to remove the trackpad first, and then dismantle the battery cell in the middle. The reason we chose not to remove the trackpad was to save some time during the battery installation process.

The battery needs 5-10 cycles to be fully calibrated. Before that, the battery level reading may be inaccurate, which is normal. 3. Avoid charging the battery unnecessarily and refrain from using the charger for prolonged periods. 4. If you use the charger for extended periods, please discharge the battery twice a week (i.e., use the MacBook until the battery level drops to about 20%). 5. If you won’t be using the MacBook for an extended period, please shut down the computer with at least 50% battery capacity remaining. 6. As long as the battery can provide stable power, it is of good quality. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Yes, if the trackpad flex has poor contact or damage, it can cause both the keyboard and trackpad to malfunction. When the MacBook detects abnormal trackpad flex, the fans will start spinning faster, and "kernel_task" is the related program for the fans, which consumes a large amount of CPU.
