I’m a maker of things but it seems to be mostly looping tapes at the moment. I have some available for sale too
NOISEBOX DARK AMBIENT JAM
These are two noiseboxes that I’ve made being put through different effects, mainly delays and reverbs. I was trying to create something more like a dark ambient drone but it got a bit weird so I just went with it. I usually have the noiseboxes for sale at

Acid techno noisebox

I make these noiseboxes mainly for people to make sound effects with, but I think they are greets for metal noises to go with techno too www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Cometogetherasone?ref=seller-platform-mcnav robotmammal
Noisebox

I’ve tried to add loads of things on this, cramming stuff where I can. Also it’s easy to change things on it
Noisebox

I made this noisebox with the intention of including a range of different noise making accessories. I’ve made it so it’s easy to change the things on it as well, so you could have a lot of similar sounding things such as different sized brass rods or just loads of different sound making things. This isn’t the ‘dry’ sound, I’ve recorded it using some different effects pedal - Caline snakebite, Z...
19.9 Seconds Cassette Tape Loop Tascam
Просмотров 9383 года назад
This 19.9 second cassette tape loop has a special mechanism inside to allow a long tape length. I’ll be making more of these. It can be played on only one side so it’s better to use on a four track. I’ve recorded this using some softsynths on my iPad www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Cometogetherasone?ref=seller-platform-mcnav robotmammal
15 SECONDS CASSETTE TAPE LOOP
Просмотров 6123 года назад
This is a cassette tape loop that I have made. I’ve made the actual cassette and the sounds as well. For the sounds on the tape I’ve used a Korg Volca FM with effects. I’m playing the tape while adding bits using a Modal Skulpt run through a TC Electronics Fluorescence shimmer reverb. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Cometogetherasone?ref=seller-platform-mcnav https:/ robotmammal
7.6 Second Cassette Tape Loop
Просмотров 9623 года назад
This was recorded from a Yamaha PSS-480 sequenced with a Korg SQ-1. The video was recorded with the audio going through effects pedals www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Cometogetherasone?ref=seller-platform-mcnav robotmammal
5.6 Second Cassette Tape Loop
Просмотров 7833 года назад
The audio on this has been recorded from a Yamaha PSS-480 sequenced with a Korg SQ-1. During recording the video the loop was processed through other effects pedals. The electronic parts in the cassette don’t actually do anything, I just add them to make it look weird www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Cometogetherasone?ref=seller-platform-mcnav robotmammal
19 SECOND CASSETTE TAPE LOOP
Просмотров 4,4 тыс.3 года назад
This is my own design for a 19 second cassette tape loop. It’s incorporating elements of another design I have that looks like a tape delay. For the recording I played a kalimba into a 4 track running at double speed and then I played back at normal speed. While recording the video I also ran it through a delay pedal. If you like then please subscribe. I’ll be making these to sell as soon as I ...
Cassette tape loop x3 moon landing
Просмотров 7283 года назад
I’ve used three cassette tape loops, a Korg Volca FM sequenced by a Korg SQ-1 with. The Apollo 11 moon landing audio. the loops are recorded by myself using a korg poly 800, Roland MC-202 and a Behringer Crave. Effects are TC electronics Fluorescence, Zoom Ms50g, Behringer EQ and an unbranded delay pedal Etsy: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Cometogetherasone?ref=seller-platform-mcnav Instagram: instagram...
Cassette tape loop playing through 3 walkmans
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.3 года назад
This is a long tapeloop that’s actually being played in three different cassette players. Each player has its own line out that’s connected to a mixer. Using this method I can add effects to each player. Audio played through one player will be then played through the next player a few seconds later for a sort of delayed effect. I think the tapeloop I’ve used has a bit too much going on to be ho...
Covering the erase head
Просмотров 14 тыс.4 года назад
This is my method for covering the erase head so you can get a complete loop on your cassette tape loops, without any half second gap. All you will need is some masking tape (painter’s tape) and a pair of scissors. I prefer this method because you don’t have to stick anything directly to the erase head on your recorder. There’s a quick little recording at the end with my Roland MC-202 Etsy: www...

how do you come up with things to put on a noisebox and where do you find them?
You know everything that vibrate well is something cool you can put on a noise box
@@lyssandrefinge4721 where cani get a groudning bar like the one you have
sound very good!
i tried it but it just distorted he sound. Can anyone help me?
Do you have a video on how to make one of these cassettes?
What's in it? Just a contact microphone?
Or you could add a switch. So you can disconnect or reconnect the erasing head.
Nice! Whats the Volca for?
😍👏👍
thanks so much for sharing this technique
Impressive
I just wish that it wasn't intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, solo, chorus, chorus, outro
"I already tried the pencil! It's only making things worse!"
if you have an EM erase head then adding a switch is a pretty decent mod. I picked up a player recently with a regular old magnet and you can't add a switch to those. I'll have to try the band aid method when I get back around to tape loops (heh)
Sounds like The Disintegration Loops
Very cool trick! The lovely MC-202 - my first synth!
I just bought one, can't wait! 😂
Wowww , amazing Machín & sounds!!!!!!!! 👌👌👌👌
Wowww , amazing Machín & sounds!!!!!!!! 👌👌👌👌
that is what happens to people who cannot pass the "are you a robot - test" on the internet... well done!
Dope!!!! New subscriber here
Would love to know how the metal tension pieces are made exactly... are you planning to make / sell more of these?
Nice box!
Hi, love the set up, verb and delay, my go to pedals. Am I right in thinking your a fellow yellowbelly (Lincoln)? I've performed with Weird Garden a few times. Great bunch. What is that great looking pedal bottom left?
It’s pretty but I think it’s the tape breaking and you have to use a pencil to reel it back onto the lil turning things
maravilhoso!!! deveria ter 10 minutos.
This is so awesome! Do you record on your computer and then transfer to the tape?
No I record straight onto tape on several passes
Satisfying
Creepy and relaxing at the same time.
Did you cut a tape to 46cm ?
Im guessing that die to the differences between different types of tape transport, you would have to fine tune each cassette gor the machine? Or am I over thinking this? I hack various machines. I had thought of a single capstan, twon pinch wheel, single aproach, pulling tape out of a tank, sending it around an array of heads, then back into the tank, ala Roland. Its on the list. Thank you for sharing this, and for your evident patience as a builder.
I have tried variations of your idea - your's worked! Thank you!
cool!
Much appreciate! Thats really dope
Very nice instruments, cool sounds
very cool
well done
so very cool
This is ace!
Far freaking out
Simple yet effective technique. I was particularly impressed with the pushing the tape inside the cavity, keeping it well away from the erase head.
Fantastic! From another world!!! 💪👏👏👏👏
I love all your handcrafted work! ♥️💯
💥🔥💪♥️ Very good!
Wow! It's great, wonderful and amazing what you do! I was blown away by your incredible setup... that studio, apparently homemade, captivated me from the first moment! The same for your cool sounds and your great inspiration! Congratulations, friend! Here new subscriber from Argentina! And sorry for mi limited English.
That looks like an accident waiting to happen lol
Cool!
*inside pain
Exactly what I needed to know! Thank you!
Excellent technique, I'll have to give it a go!
