This platform needs to be implemented more to minimize the bureaucracy and administrative cost of healthcare in the US. Health insurance is suppose to make it more affordable and accessible to medical attention, not the opposite - which is the current. A test would cost $1000 with insurance and $200 without insurance. A trip to emergency room would cost $12000 with insurance and $1.300 without insurance. Something is very wrong here.

In Asia its a common practice, 5-10 usd per visit depends which clinic or location. I am very surprise that even a simple check up people have to go through a lot of process to get checked.
Yes! this is a fair way to get a visit with a doctor WITHOUT using your insurance. There's a growing movement of doctors who are delivering primary care services directly to their patients, and this DIRECT PRIMARY CARE model is disrupting the current fee-for-service or insurance-based healthcare system.
