In Asian Martial Arts Cinema, Eskrima - the Philippines' national martial art and national sport has taken a back seat in the film scene, as well as in the public’s awareness, due to its lack of proper representation in action films.
YUKBO is a thesis short film that makes use of the action genre with the aim of promoting the Filipino Martial Art of Eskrima.
