Welcome!
Here is our piece of paradise located in regional Victoria, Australia.
With our little family, we farm broad acre crops, sheep, wool and steel fabrication.
We are raising our family on the farm, which is a great experience that we think is unique to share.
Never a dull moment on the farm and always something to do!
So here we are - watch and enjoy!

The Case MX120 is almost back in action!
Welcome back to another vlog on the farm, you will see a little more progress of the dam clean out, overall we are pretty happy with how it has turned out.
A few repairs to the Case Steiger, putting in an isolator particularly for the off season. Working on a ute tray (sorry very minimal footage of this as we were working at a fast rate on it. As the title suggests, the case loader is so close to get back into action, had a few little wins which have allowed for smooth success all thanks to a bit of agri-engineering!
Once again, thanks for tuning in, give the video a like and subscribe to our channel.

Bobcat Adaptor & Dam Clean Out
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.16 часов назад
Welcome back to another Vlog on the farm with us! You will see the creation of an adaptor for a post hole digger (we used to use it on the case loader) to be mounted on the bob cat, which will make easier for small spaces such as the sheep yards. Did some repairs to a Rogator boom spray wing, little fiddly, but got the job done. And cleaned out a dam with the old slush box. The kids loved watch...
More Summer Spraying
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.14 дней назад
Here we are back spraying again for the summer weeds - and hopefully no more spraying after this. Had done a little more work on the Case that is parked up in the shed, may have found some answers to the oil leaking. Also had the seed grading man out to clean the wheat and beans for the upcoming cropping season. Thanks for tuning in for another video! Give us a like and subscribe to our channel...
Back into the Sheep Work
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.14 дней назад
In this video, we are back into action with the sheep, feeding, drafting and putting out salt and lime for the sheep. An update on the rock picker - not the most ideal conditions to be rock picking, but once there is some more damper weather, it will make it better to use it. Thanks again for watching and giving the video a thumbs up - we appreciate it! Music: Live It - Infraction Afterparty So...

Post Harvest Jobs | More to the Growing To-Do List of Repairs
Просмотров 976Месяц назад
After the busy harvest, we are back again with those odd jobs post harvest. Fixing the things that were just put off… and to start off with those ‘odd jobs’ is the air compressor - in need of some much TLC! Carting more gypsum and brought the camera along for you to see how crap the roads are - like they are all over the state. Once again, thanks for tuning in for another video! #Postharvestrep...
Post Harvest Jobs

Harvest is done and now we can move at a bit of a slower pace… completing some repairs that were just put off towards the end of harvest, especially to the header front. Started to cart gypsum back with the time that we have, as we will be needing around 9 loads of this. Some more footage of feeding sheep - felt like you guys haven’t seen the sheep in some time! Thanks for watching, be sure to ...
Harvest #7

All good things must come to an end and that is our harvest! Finished up on the wheat after the many rain breaks this season has given us. Given that harvest is all done for us now, we will have some down time so the content will come out a bit slower until the new year when the welding is most likely to get back into gear. Thanks for watching once again, give the video a like and subscribe to ...

Finished off the extension to the Chaser bin auger. We were able to get back into the barley in-between the wet weather. Had some interesting issues with the walkers in the header and blocking up. Awkward space to get into, was able to clear the walkers to stop the blockage and the buzzer. Started on the wheat towards which was good - can slowly see the light at the end of the tunnel of harvest...
The Unwanted Harvest Break

Back again with another harvest break thanks to the rain… in this video you will see grain shifted around into silos and out of silos. Moving a large tree off the road and back in the workshop, adding in 500mm extension to a chaser bin auger with my @kemppiaustralia613 set up. Thanks for watching! Music: Mood of Summer - Abby noise

Rinse and repeat - harvest edition again. Finished the last of the windowed canola, then moved to the direct head canola, to be throw a few spanners due to moisture and then decided to work on the barley to finish the video off with. How is everyone’s harvest going out there? Thanks for watching, be sure to like the video and subscribe to our channel! Music: All Good Folks - Years Eyes wide ope...

What’s a harvest without header issues, right? An issue with one of the tyres which was fixed. Moving augers, unloading the truck, loading the truck, moving gear. Wild wilds throwing the windrowed canola everywhere, making a mess. Repeat process, plus and minus a few things. Its harvest time! Music: Tropicana - Soundroll Mood of Summer - Abbynoise

Header Reel Repairs & Crutching Lambs
You are a clever young man.
Did you find one of Phil’s Utes in there?
Love the old white mate look like a tough old machine
Reckon that black shit would be a bit on the bugle.
Lubre-can always works on the swing and roll mate!. Push all that black crap away from the catchment area so it don't end up back in the dam I think. Then I think pump all that dirty water out for really good hygiene , the you may be able to go deeper.
That looked a great Job .Cheers for the videos
Looks like fun
Entertaining video as usual - keep it up :-) Always nice and relaxing videos to watch, especially in the workshop 🙂
Dig In to google on Case 9330 and split it mate . Get yourself some ajustable stands and a concrete floor and get stuck into, Two pieces please success .
Finally got to unhook the boom spray the other day. bloody endless job summer spraying.
Next Time Through a bit Of Cobolt and Urea With it they like That also u Will see the Difference
Mate I hope you get some decent rain soon. What does the lime and salt do for the sheep? How do you know how much feed to give the sheep. Sorry for all of the questi9ns.
What happened to the rock picking
I’m guessing by the lack of footage on the rockpicker that things didn’t go all that well?
Seems to be a tool for every situation or otherwise you make your own. How did the rock picker perform
Get yourself a repair manual , you can source it through the tractor manufacturer or print it of google search . Now if you are like me and JT my friend the spouse of the house will push the buttons on the computer for the best results !
I hear you on the computer stuff I’m pretty bloody hopeless on that end ha. Yeah I have a fare few mates in the game so I’ll see if they have something on the old girl. Thanks for the heads up hope all is well and thanks for watching our videos
I’m tippin what ever that Ute hit isn’t in real good nick either. Fair nudge. Nice work on the repair though 👌👍
The bloke backed it straight into a shed post. Obviously going a little fast haha. Thanks for watching in on our channel
happy new year mate how did you fair with the fires
Happy New years and Christmas to you in return. We are not near the fires , but it was pretty serious out there and was good to finally get rain out there. Thanks for watching
What’s your go to summer spray mix for wireweed heliotrope melons marshmallow and now we are also starting to get fleabane which I think lontrel is the only thing the kills it, Hope you’s had a good holiday.
It’s a pretty standard mix Glyphosate , Ester , Garlon for melons and for marshmallows and hogweed ect Starane. But don’t take my advice for your operation as I’m no agronomists 👍 holiday was good but was hard to get back to it. Hope you had a break and a great festival season and thanks for watching.
Always enjoy your videos mate. Hope your having a great holiday.
Thanks for watching and we appreciate the feedback. Holiday was good didn’t want to come back to work
I have a repair manual for that tractor if you would like it
You may "not be a mechanics bum" but you're giving it a go - that's the difference 🙂 Those roads aren't bad compared to the rubbish that is called the Hamilton Hwy and lately the Glenelg Hwy is no better. Thanks for another great video!!
Ya should know by now it’s never their fault 😜😂. Harvest done Beer o’clock 🍺🍺🍺
Another good show mate. How funny, they don’t forget these girls, they are all sisters.😂😂 Glad you had a decent harvest.
Did clearing the blockage in the header stop the sensors going off ?
@@gavanburge1577 well I’d did for a little while then it kept going off now and then so I disconnected the sensor 👍 but I did keep an eye on the walkers from then on
Does your father own a property East of Callwadda ?
@@garycooper3888 He doesn’t no sorry but my grandmother family did back in the day
@@garycooper3888 No sorry but my grandmother’s family had ground out there back in the day
Giving us the run down on shifting all the grain around sounded like Daryl Kerrigan moving the Cortina to get to the Torana so he could get the Boat out.
Yeah beans yields pretty much the same here in Bordertown..few blokes had 2 to 2.5t depending on what the paddock had last year...up an back..up an back..for a boxfull...yawn.
Hey stu do you have many problems with pigs roos ect
No pigs just Roos. I need to invest some fencing👍 thanks for watching the channel
@KanyaFarming yeah they cause some damage, no worries mate I enjoy the content you put up👍
Thanks Stu, another entertaining video, despite the variable weather 🙂
Thanks for watching we are pulled up at the moment with rain 15ml hopefully get going Thursday
Enjoying the Harvest vids👍keep em coming 👌
Thanks for watching the channel we will👍
One for next year on the canola matt’s, just measure the distance on the adjustment on either side to get them to run true. I’ve had them trying to run side ways and was only out by a few mm
Gday yeah I usually check that measurement but was a little lazy this year and just ran it 😂👍 but thanks for the advise and watching our channel
Just what you want at 11.00, tools everywhere.🤦♂️ Thanks for the shows, they are interesting.
Thanks for watching our channel
30 foot windrows are way better in the wind in my experience
Yeah should have went 40 foot but was worried the old header would struggle. Thanks for watching our channel 👍
Wonder if you coukd hire ine if thise big hay mergers to clean up the scattered canola ?
Might have to back the tipper out of the shed before ya pump the tyres up😂😂😂
Would you consider going to a direct heading type of canola?
Gday I think we have some footage of our direct head stuff in a later episode. I tried to hedge my beats by windrowing half and direct heading the rest. Thanks for watching our channel
That’s rough after a dry year and crops already struggling to have the windrows spread allover the paddock. Seems to be yielding half alright though. All the best with it👍
Thanks for the comment yields turned out around the 1.2 tonnes to the ha in the canola. Thanks for watching our channel
Best ever JD header ever made. Wait til you put a Draper front on it. They love it with all the heads coming in the same way
It’s been a rippa to be honest mate👍 touch wood no major issues, we are only just getting through the canola now. It will be good to get that out of the way. Thanks for watching our stuff 👍
Nice job on the trailer mate. Good to see the header out havin a crack.
Is good to get a start on the harvest. Thanks for a the comment and watching 👍
Great video guys, keep them coming 👍
I'm glad you're lifting those field bins. Nothing worse than having your ring in the dirt.
Pins, clips, drill bits, Lufkin tapes, blades, fuses, globes, etc... the only way you'll find them is to go and buy another one... then within 7 days all the things you lost, errr misplaced, will finally reappear again and you'll end up with all of these extra tape measures, spare drill bits, blades, etc... 🙂 A bit like socks disappearing out of the sock drawer... 🙂
Lucky it didn’t have a box full as well!! Poor old jigga
Never a dull moment! Keep up with the entertaining videos, Stu 🙂
Thanks for showing your journey young man.
Ca n you clean the screen or camera on go pro olits bloody dirty can't see hardly anything
You hit the turns did you
Hi from Western Australia... Awesome video 🤠👍😎 Really like the content...the little fella yelling at the sheep was so funny...😂 Just subscribed...😁 Blessings to you and your family... Stay safe
Hope you got some of the rain a few days ago (Wed 16th Oct - Fri 18th Oct). Headers, especially pre harvest are a great cure for boredom... 🙂
