Forest Folk Off Grid

Добавлен 12 мар 2014
Taj, Leilani, and The Great Rolando live off-grid in the Sanhedrin mountain wilderness. Taj is a former Maine fishing and recreational guide and Leilani is an herbalist, forager, and botany enthusiast. They reside in zone 9b in the mountains- hiking, foraging, hunting, gathering herbs, and living simply & minimally off the grid. They focus on cooking, creating herbals for their small family business: Wild Bruja Apothecary, home projects, family adventures, and learning their land. They grow & ethically wildcraft the large majority of what goes into their herbals, ferment, preserve, and work to get plenty of natural movement. Experienced hikers and almost always in places that most humans rarely go, follow along as they get in to all kinds of situations-- and learn along the way. Thanks for joining! There is an amazing plant that grows at the top of one of our favorite hiking spots that aids not only in respiratory issues but also has topical applications! Check out our journey in finding it...
Hi! Thank you so much for the wonderful informative video! I hope that yall continue! Would you be able to tell us who made your gorgeous leather moccasins? Loved going on this hike with yall!!! 🤠🤠🤠
I need to make more fire cider for the winter. Great video!

Beautiful video. Thank you both for sharing ❤🤗
Thanks, and our pleasure!
I love the way that plant interaction just creates more abundance. People have things so backward on their ideas of relating to land.
I love realizing that literally every plant is food and medicine. Learning the applications of all of the lesser known natives is such a passion of mine. My goal this year is to fully integrate my herbalism practice and creations to exclusively working with local plants. Nature is so abundant.
