Magnum XL 200 started the coaster wars. Millennium Force started the Station Music Wars.

Literally sounds like Portal music. But also surprisingly fitting for this ride. Millennium Force has become underrated over the years. People been crapping on it. It used to be overrated, now it's underrated. This ride's been through the cycle man. But one thing this ride does better than any other coaster on Earth, it's the station music. No other Coaster has station music that simultaneously intimidates you, gets you hyped, is a bop, and is very fitting for the theme of the ride.

I watched this video before I went to the park for the first time, and that was in 2021. Now it's 2024 and I'm going back next week

Used to love this ride. But I'm grown up now. People grow up and move on

I was only afraid of my first coaster as a kid (corkscrew) when I got off i was hooked, since then wasn't afraid of anything...till they announced this. First thing was the launch 120 mph in 4 seconds???? Mind boggling, next the height. So i get in really scared looking up at the 420 ft top hat, roll out of the station, countdown, takeoff cant keep my eyes open, started heading up, felt a strong twist to the right then got yo to the top and thats when the fear hit,on the way down couldn't see the track, but once we got down excitement and adrenaline had kicked in, ride over. My uncle cousin and little brother got back in line, I didn't Why was afraid of the height. Lateron though that night, I rode it again prayed to God "Help me get over the fear of this ride, he did after this every time I went I rode it. I give God glory for helping me get over the fear of this ride.

I have to ride Millie every time I’m there and I been riding coasters since 2002 I’ve ridden 60 coasters

Reading John Hildebrandts autobiography about this commercial. They hired Paul Frees to do the voiceover and recorded it in San Francisco. They filmed the ride 3 weeks before opening day during construction and kinky had 1 night of filming (with 2 nights prior for lighting). According to the story, it was very cold and windy on the night of filming so they had issues with the fog effects. Also the ride was not yet certified for human passengers, so the shots of the rider in the car while the ride is moving is a dummy and it was cut with closeups of the actor sitting in a stationary car and acting as if the ride was moving. For the shot of the actor in the car moving forward and backward, they achieved it by keeping the car in place and moving the camera back. According to Hildebrandt, the director kept wanting to do retakes and they spent almost all night just trying to film it. By the end of the night they were trying to film the drop itself but the ride broke down and the gondola kept getting stuck at the top. So an engineer from Intamin had to stand up there and manually release the car every time.

Greatest thing I’ve ever ridden. Sitting front row, listening to this song, staring down the runway, nerves going, just waiting for what feels like the longest time ever. I’m pretty fearless when it comes to coasters, but sitting and waiting for that launch would always put butterflies in my stomach.
