@paultrademark Amazing the quality of video you can get from a compact these days ..... my Fuji F30 wont zoom whilst filming video unfortunately ..... and I have to shield the mic with strip of elastoplast to record loud music. Like the way you can zoom in on soloing musicians. Cheers for the info.

@Dubdroid It is just a Sony DSC-HX5 digital camera, not able to adjust the mic volume but works well at most gigs I've filmed

Sound and Pic quality pretty good..... what type of camera did you use? ..... Does the mic shut down at high volumes or can u adjust it?
