CANYON TREE FROG
Did you know there was tree frogs in arizona? The canyon tree frog (Dryophytes arenicolor) is a species of tree frog native to the rocky plateau areas of southern United States, primarily in New Mexico and Arizona, but it also ranges to Utah, Texas, and Colorado, and as far south as mexico.
Canyon tree frogs grow to 5.0-5.5 cm (2.0-2.2 in) in length, and are typically brown, grey-brown, or grey-green in color, often with darker-colored blotching. They can vary considerably, but usually match the soil or rock coloration of their native habitats to serve as camouflage. Those from limestone habitats are lighter colored, and those from regions composed mostly of granite can even be pink in co...

as I was driving through the neighborhood I passed by an old pond liner that someone was throwing out I assume because of a small crack that took 5 minutes to fix, so I took it home and turned it into a turtle pond! I had a lot of fun with this project finishing it in just 2 days its fun seeing my backyard come more to life with each project

while i was away in utah for 6 months i thought my friend who i trusted to take care of my place Was actually taking care of the place instead I come home to a overgrown yard and a pond that is half drained and overgrown with plants and the filter off so I cleaned it all out trimmed all the plants got it up and running again. the koi fish in 20 gallon tanks at petsmart would disagree
Why pump all that good water out?? Thats established water 🙁and you got rid of all that good bacteria on the rocks😭omg.
i used it as fertilizer for my plants
also that’s only the front of the rocks, there is plenty of beneficial bacteria on the backs of the rocks. cleaning a pond is part of regular maintenance, cleaning includes cleaning the rocks too, it is way healthier now than before i cleaned it
