How To Play Andantino | Suzuki Violin Vol. 1
Andantino from Suzuki Book 1 uses the Twinkle C rhythm, just like Allegretto. However, this melody is more stepwise and the 8th notes are not marked staccato, therefore they can be played more connected. Just a note- in this video I chose a slower tempo, and now I realize I didn't do the correct articulation for the quarter notes- the quarter notes should be shorter. Please consult your teacher before copying this interpretation! :)

Perpetual Motion by K. Bohm | Suzuki Violin Book 4
I need to look into the history of violins. My high brain is slightly amused at the thought of someone putting a smaller guitar to their neck and was like this would sound good if I carve the fuck outta it. Which in fact was true
440 sounds great to me, I must be crazy but I dont understand the love for 432
My opinion: 415 sounds like it's alive, and has the most character 435 is warm and soothing, but lacks the charm of 415 440 is almost sterile? It seems mechanical for some reason, and I think it's the frequency spacing feeling more uniform, but I don't know.
Just realized my mistake. 432 not 435.
I see comment about the beauty of 432hz 🤦 please dont play ever again in 432 hz its out o tune and its horrible for the ears😁
@@lepurilorin yes the 432 was out of tune so it's hard to compare it to the others unfortunately
415 hz its the mos warm sound for violin because strings are not so tight .432hz its the mos out of tune for the position of the parameter of the violin. 440hz its the most comon so its ok 😁
I prefer 415 and since i play guitar in 432 hz for over 3 years now this one. With good high tension strings i even tuned the guitar down a halfstep from 432 hz what would be the "baroque" equivalent and on some pieces its just the perfect fit. Its always nice to rewire the hearing abit, back then at the renaissance and baroque it was quite normal to play in different Tunings anyway :)
426 2/3 (because c at 2 to the eighth power is natural). 432 is the planned disinfo backup for when too many started asking about 440
Violin strings are made of plastic، In the past, it was made of horses and nature، Its effect is completely different.
these strings are made of gut. I've never seen plastic strings lol
You play very very well❤🎉🎉
Vibrate in: 415 - Psyche; 432 - heart and Soul (AnimA); 440 - spirit... Just opinion. Grateful.
This is amazing
Memories from me as a child little violinist :) ❤
432 feels somehow so unnatural. 440 is fine but 415 is the best.
💐💐
I'm accompanying you on cello, viola and continuo. You are my new partner, that's awesome, Thanks!
@@camelectric yay!
415hz is my favorite ❤
432 and 440 sound totally off ...
440 is my preference
Gotti 440 isn’t a proper harmonic progression. 432 is 😅 big ups
A440 sounded surprisingly horrendous, I have shocked myself. I don't prefer A415 or A432, they're both OK to me, one just sounds brighter and the other darker. A440 sounds shockingly bad even though we're all used to it... Wow
Name song?

@kiyoematsuura thank you!❤️
Thank you!;😊❤
To me all are pleasant sounding on the individual strings the difference is on those mutli string strokes. The 415 sounds way better than the other 2, they almost sound grating compared at those points. Well played!
Sorry but the variances in each performance make this a tough reference.
@@keithschwartzmusic9461 I recorded it on a whim one morning and didn't expect it to blow up like this 🤷🏻♀️
@@kiyoematsuura Fair enough.
Wait that's actually cool. Never knew
Love your playing too
@@unknownly_sorrows thanks!
440 is disgusting
@@madscientistlife wow
432hz happy sound
🎻 ❤
Is that a baroque violin?
@@thereddestsuninthesky yes
Hola. Soy de Argentina, donde puedo conseguir el ejercicio? Gracias. ❤ hermosa melodía
It is in the book "Introducing The Positions" book 1, positions 3 and 5, by Harvey S. Whistler
432 is magical 440 it hurt my ears
I like first two, but I felt 432 more. 415 sounds nice, but 432 resonates through you a little more. Listened with my eyes closed and then opened them and rewatched to make sure it wasn’t just my mind playing tricks on me.
I tried 450hz at my mandolin but when i wantet to back to 440hz my g string was a other note than before, so changing herz is just changing notes i think 😅
Excellent ⭐️🌷⭐️
Muito obrigada!Seu vídeo me ajudou muito ❤
Great playing !!! Thank you for this ❤
@Michaela-m4l thank you!
I bet 440 sounds the best in person at a slight distance
I bet 440 sounds the best in person at a slight distance
Hi, Kiyoe, you mentioned that it starts with up bow, but the music sheet indicated down bow. Has there been a change to newer suzuki book2?
@@nirwana911 interesting! My Book 2 is the "revised edition" from 2007 and indicates up bow. I just double checked 😉 But I know that some Suzuki editions have different markings depending on the year or country that it is published.
@ you’re right! I’ve just found that out too. It was the earlier edition. Pfft!
I think 415hz resonates better for this violin compared to the other pitches as it sounds richer
415 is a half step down from 440 that’s why it sounds best to some because it’s recognizable based off of 440 an A simply sounds like an Ab which make sense. 432 is completely off the rails and it sounds wrong to a lot of people because there’s no correlation to A440z I personally think they all sound good.
Wait for your Suzuki Etude Tutorial video!
I've heard 432 is supposed to be the best, but honestly it was totaly ear wrenching for me here, the first one was much more comfortable I dont know
Truly speaking, I don’t know how to play any musical instrument, nor do I have much interest in the violin. However,,,, I found this reel yesterday and now I’ve watched it so many times,,,,you are so beautiful...
They must be joking. I'm sorry you have to put up with these replies. However, Your Violin is more equally resonate on all notes played when in 415hz.... unless something in the room changed. 440 is too sharp for acoustic instruments. Some may be different.
440hz❤ it's my favorite
Are you sure you were playing on A major at A=415Hz (joking)
Thank you so much! ❤ I love to learn with you 🎻
@@SassaBlah thank you 😊
i cant stop listening to this....i like how it sounds in all the frequencies smh
Its so helpful, thank you so much
