The key to verbal communication a blind wheel
cool
Just discovered the channel! Looking forward to many hours of classy entertainment.
A single camera, placed at a similar sonic perspective, and rotating on its own VERY slowly, perhaps covering 120-180º in about 10-30 minutes, round trip, would be fascinating. There are also 360º cameras, but the video would be enormous in 4 hours.
Hello Howard, what I perceive is that you have made us feel as if we were located there, and there is a sound balance of the environment, between the conversations, the piano and your voice. I was about to watch the usual video and I came across this one. The sensation is very natural, very pleasant. And since you are out of the scene, you go into the background, but you are there, and you are part of the environment. I must say that the environment masks those sonic imperfections that the close-up recording allows us to hear. You sound more perfect. The scene looks like a good movie. It's art.
different and atmospheric
@@Jack-fs2im I like how it's as if we're sitting with the Cadets having a cocktail!
@Jack-fs2im I had an annoying echo issue with this cam's sound track, but I've resolved that issue.
It's a very cool angle, but you're just going to incorporate it into the existing angles, correct? Because I definitely missed seeing you in this show, so don't take that out!
@@secretfamilyrecipe Yes, that's right. What's cool is that it gets recorded as a separate video so it can be edited and made into promotional spots.
@@secretfamilyrecipe The full regular show is just before this post.
great sound dynamics and rhythm variations, and how well you adapt your voice to that. These versions with improvised parts have sounded great, they achieve a great atmosphere. Since Wine and Roses I was glued to the show. An incredible night.
MMW, I'm glad you're enjoying the improvised parts of the show. We had a great group Friday night and it went fast. These 4 hour nights add up to over 7 hours with setup and tear down of the tv gear. I never really thought about it until Friday when I told the parking valet, OK see you in 4 hours. Then I remembered it's 2 hours to set up and 1.25 hours to pack up. I told him hang on, I'll see you in 7 hours. Lol
@@HowardGoldman Magnificent. All that great work makes it possible for these sessions to become known throughout the world, otherwise only those present would be able to see and hear it. Great American music has a good promotional channel, think about how many people and equipment were necessary to achieve it a few decades ago. It has been a very spontaneous night, the spirit of the people could be perceived.
WOW what a feat of endurance
Thank you, Jack!
Any updates?
remarkable ,think you should be sponsored for such a marathon.
Thanks, Jack. Hmmm. Sounds like my left channel audio is low. I'll have to check the mixer next Friday.
My plan is to eventfully revese it and then revers it back!
Awesome videos. My next step is to drain my battery and try reversing the voltage. I need to find a light bulb. If the reversing doesn't work, I might try using some baking soda and distilled water to clean the plates. As you know everything isn't so simple. My battery is low on electrolytes per the hydrometer. The desulfator says I have a bad cell.
Love the commentary!
Hello Howard, I would honestly like to give you 10 likes for the great vocal level you have maintained since the beginning of the session, for a very solid repertoire, for the microphone adjustment being optimal, and for the right reverberation. And that tablet on the left is now well supported, everything is in wonderful balance. Another benchmark session, really.
10 likes back at you, MMNW!
incredible feat.
updates?
Interesting Nice
The patio has been very beautiful. The mini atrium is a balanced combination of history, nature and large space. Beautiful design, the view outside is admirable. And the acoustics too, Jackie Jacko's portrait lights up the entire room with his eternally young smile.
This channel is a treasure 🍸🎶
Thank you, SFR. I appreciate that very much.
WOW you certainly earn yr accliam with 4 hrs ,respect ,
Thanks for joining us, Jack!
Hello Howard, in singing the voice is usually differentiated from the speaking voice. I think the natural place of the voice varies depending on the pitch of the notes. Since the previous session I hear that you have found more natural places at certain heights. I hear you renewed, possibly it is a good path. Anyway, it's my perception, take it with caution.
@@MrMyneworld Thank you. It makes me happy to hear that because I am working on that every day. I appreciate your comments.
Hi Howard, great selection. I'm still examining previous recordings and preparing comments. Thank you for marking some songs, it makes things a lot easier for those of us who are still getting to know the repertoire. As soon as I can I will upload comments. Keep it up. Greetings.
Thank you! OK, I'll keep marking more songs. I just uploaded last night's show. It went pretty well. I suggest you jump to the newest show and not feel pressure to catch up. Best regards, Howard

Oh, Charles Trenet (2.30) was a French chanteur from the olden days. 'I Wish You Love' I'd heard first sometime in the Eighties, titled 'Que Reste-t-il de Nos Amours', translates roughly as 'What remains of all our loves'... Such a bright melody to those downbeat lyrics!
very nice relaxing upload
I'm happy you joined the party, Ernst.
Cool Michel LeGrande song!!! Never heard that one before.
Did it work?
3:57:30 It is an interesting piece to continue patiently polishing. Mary sings some difficult parts amazingly well, but at certain phrases or intervals she runs out of breath, I guess that's what it is. She already has a small repertoire to get in shape. I'll try to transport some sheet music.
very cool ,like like.
Thank you, Jack. Great tune that was traditionally an up tune, but Jackie Jocko always did it as a ballad so I tried it. I love the song.
❤❤❤
Thank you, StarShip!
2:21:12wow, you managed to make your voice heard on that descent, and you controlled well the next phrase that begins with high notes. I thought it was very good. I'm behind on listening, I think you made new arrangements for the opening song, I noticed it was more enriched. I will continue listening.
You have a great ear, Mr.Myneworld. I value your observations. I felt good in the 4th hour. 03:18:30 Come Back To Me. My newest favorite song.
lovely lounge classics
Thanks once more for joining the cocktail party, Jack!
What wonderful Fridays you all have! I only got the opportunity to tune in on Monday evening. Glad I got the chance. Thanks.
Anssi I am happy you are a part of them!
2:18:26 As Time Goes By, wow, the treble are difficult, and the piano!
Hello Howard, I will contribute my usual vision. I'm sorry that some cameras have rebelled. Or maybe Facebook problem? There has been a very symmetrical balance between the camera on the right and the one on the left, the distances and angles give a wide and privileged view. At the sound level, I have noticed several things. I cannot limit myself to a mere general comment because there are several gems. In principle I will say that Frank Sinatra would have been pleased with your version of "All the way" (1:45:40), you gave it all your personal sound and emotion controlling the air and treble well. There are many fascinating pieces here, I will analyze them.
Thank you for the great comments and also the generous compliment. I'm making some progress getting the wireless cameras to behave in our newest episode from two nights ago. Glad you are with us! ~Howard
Howard, keep in mind the repertoire of this session, your voice was very flexible and you controlled the air very well. The chat and views confirm what I think. Sorry for commenting again but the YT algorithm brought me here again and I was able to notice many details. Great repertoire.
Thank you, @MrMynewworld. I appreciate your regular visits and your insights!
3:28 when I heard that bass solo I started looking and wondering "where's the bassist?" It sounded very nice, beautiful piece.
Thank you!
Lest you forget how creepy they can truly be.
Hi Howard, I'm crazy about my move but I was able to listen to and see this show, everything is great. The lyrical moment is interesting, there are many experiments that can arise. I think about someday you and Mary sitting together at the piano and alternating parts of a song. I wonder if it's possible, it would be fascinating. Think about it, greetings...
Greetings! So happy you were able to catch LoungeACADEMY while doing your moving! Great suggestion. I'm getting ready for tonight's show as we speak.
What better way to begin a Saturday morning than tuning in to Lounge ACADEMY (from Friday evening) and pouring oneself a nice cup of coffee! Thanks!
1:50:00 All The Things You Are was tailored to you, it fits your voice range. Magnificent atmosphere, a harmonious night.
Thank you! I'll make sure to keep it.
Mary, if you can solve the singing lines smoothly with "m", with "n" and with "l", you can do it. Your voice is pleasant. Greetings.
Wonderful session Howard!! I'm glad you recorded longer, there were many exciting moments, songs from my childhood, Mary who didn't dare to hit the high notes, but still aroused our admiration, and a live repair. Brilliant.
Thank you. I enjoyed it very much. It was my 14th night in the past 15 days. I loved that heavy work out!
What a delight it is to see and hear you all having such a good time! Especially I'm enjoying Mary's Disney movie medley!
Delighted to be with you, Anssi!
Wish ww had this in London
Thanks, Jack. Glad we can be with you from Buffalo!
WOW great review and publicity
