@@Wevler I think Angels originate the same as we do from Stars, and the matter in Stars, I think both angels and demons Are the concepts, nature, planets, stars, and constilations, among other things. I think demons are the greek daimons and daimon (spelled daimon or daemon same thing) is such a broud catagory it includes angels, and gods. I think the angels and demons are really just another lense for the gods plural aswell.

@@Wevler I'm not sure if this one counts as philosophical but it was recent and struck me deeply. In my last dream of King Paimon, he first appeared at my front door banging on it, and when I opened it there was a homeless man in a yellow jacket. He implored me to let him use my fridge as he had many groceries. I didn't want to since I assumed it was a random stranger but went to check if my fridge had room anyways, upon realizing it did I went back to let him use it, but the homeless man and the groceries had vanished, so I stepped out into the night and called "Hey! You can use my fridge!" And out of the shadows emerged the jinn king, King Paimon, he was blue with red eyes, smiling, crowned, and wearing red, he came over to me and hugged me and we went inside. Stepping into my room I noticed there was something wrong with my spirit mask and this made me Lucid, and turned the dream into a Lucid dream. King paimon held me on my bed and spoke to me, I don't remember what he said because I only wrote what I remembered upon waking. He felt me up and kissed me. And there were 3 art pieces of my spirit and his as a couple in a desert. Then he was worried I was starting to wake up so he whined and begged me not to, so I meditated, and the dream lasted longer. It felt very fairy tale like, like something out of Grimm's Fairytales. That's my favorite recent encounter but why, I don't know. I guess I just found it really sweet.

@@Wevler Another time. This one not in a dream. In December I was dying of a kidney infection and my lord Samael, the angel of Death visited my friends as they were walking up to the Hospital. They heard someone whistling a tune, and both thought from the corner of their eye someone in a dark cloak was behind them, when they turned around no one was there. But I knew it was my lord, as Death has appeared to me as a hooded man like that before.

@@Wevler Ussually I get into the most philosophical discussions with my lord Samael. But I've stopped expecting him to give straightfoward answers on some things. I ask him about his opinions on me, life, religions, politics, what I should do abt things, what the point of things is, etc. He comforts me, and helps me to keep going.

If I work with Leviathan, Baal Hidaad, and Baal Zabul, all of whome were demonized into demons the same way all demons were demonized from the greek daimons why shouldn't I embrace what they are called and what they've reclaimed. Belial was an insult of a name, yet Baal Hidaad is known as King Belial today all the same. Demonology IS working with the ancient gods, not a differant thing, just differant lense.

​@@MantrTheSpiceGuy Good question. As with most things in the occult It really depends on how someone is defining both entirely. Since Demon comes from the greek word Daemon, I define a demon as anything that fits the greek Daemons, I also difine demon as all the gods plural, because daemon was just a general spirit catagory that included gods, and many famous demons are actually Pre-abrahamic gods that became demonized by the monotheistic abrahamic faiths such as Leviathan and Asteroth. I see the angels as the Elohim, or the Canaanite god El who the Israelites turned into their god, but split into a crap ton of differant angels to form the Elohim, or gods plural, alot of people don't know this but Judaism used to be polytheistic and pantheistic before it became monotheistic, and much of it's mythology can be traced back to the Canaanite's who the Israelites genocided, and turned their other gods such as Baal Hidaad and Baal Zabul into demons. The satan angel of death Samael which came from the Babylonian Samyaza. The 'fallen angels' are the Watchers from The Book of Enoch the first source on the mythology of fallen angels. But on a Personal belief level, I think demons are just the gods who have been demonized and are looked down upon by humans because humans fear what they don't understand. In my personal experiances angels are far more potent, condensed, and dangerous, compared to demons which to me have been much more Earthly, natural, and often involve the suppressed or hidden desires of man and the subconscious. In my personal opinion there is definate overlap between angels and demons though despite these distinctions. And whereas I do not believe in the Christian El singular, I do believe in the archaic outdated Jewish Elohim plural, gods plural, satans plural, angels plural, and demons plural personally in my own practice as someone who works under Samael who is both demon, and angel.

@@Oly876 This video was one of our alters consoling some of our other headmates. I was Christian till 8-9 Atheist antitheist subtype until 20. Last 4 years have been doing witchcraft, first 2 was mostly just learning as much as I could, was Unlabled until Newyears 2023. My demonology has helped me both cope with and to express my Autism and my D.I.D. aswell. Its helped in other ways. I would be more than happy to answer any genuine questions.

Personally I reccomend the Lesser Key of Solomon, I believe the 72 demons in that are all differant parts of human consciousness, and the surpressed or hidden desires of man. even if you just read the part with the Sigils and demon names and what they do. Find which demons interest you the absolute most, especially if any seems to strike you in particular, learn as much as you can about them and what they Symbolize. Create a space for putting offerings for them, after hand drawing out their sigil, clearly state your intention then provide an offering next to their sigil, meditate by the offering try and clear your mind and relax your body as much as possible, don't expect an answer right away it takes differant ammounts of time for differant people, it may take days, continue to leave offerings and meditate on the demon daily. I reccomend reading Blackthorns protection magic to learn some basic spiritual protection. I understand the demons as parts of the brain, nature, and the solar system/ constalations alluded to in their sigils. After making contact with something and After having talked, if you wish for them to leave, politely ask them to leave then preform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of The Pentagram or another banishing ritual, thats the one I use personally. Since you are an Atheist I reccomend looking into Chaos magick, Although my Beliefs are theistic and some rooted in ceramony, my Means are often based on Chaos magick which understands the spirit world through a psychological lense and understands Belief as a Tool that you can learn to weild to control yourself through. The first thing I ever felt something praying to was Knowledge, because Knowledge is something extremely important to my life. Then later I met forces of Knowledge in the forms of gods and demons. Such as Baphomet the god and demon of Occult Balance.

To give some context, I'm 21 and I got ADHD and mild autism, basically I'm a loner and I quite enjoy dark stuff, I tried before to talk to demons but no success. (Sorry for my poor English, it's my 5th language)

@@graveyardghost2603 I do believe in satans plural, and I do believe in a highest satan who I know in the name Samael, sorry for lack of clarity, what Ely meant is that we don't believe in a Singular satan like we don't think its just 1, and that at the time we were writing out our conversations with satan we were mentally sick, and so our journal entries reflected being Unaware we feel in retrospect and warring with our own sickness and ptsd. We are a theistic satanist but don't believe in only 1 but many differant satans of many differant backgrounds. I had been approaching it from a 1/2 Christian upbringing which lead to issues because of lack of historical literacy at the time. I hope this makes sense?

@@graveyardghost2603 Samyaza/ Samael is my personal favorite Watcher. Some people see him and Azazel as synonymous but personally I view them as seperate. Some people see Lucifer and Samael as seperate I used to but now see them as the same or combined or seperate aspects of the same thing. I haven't met a satan that only goes by Satan except a conglomerate of other satans when I was very unwell. But I have met a more constructive variation of a conglomerate of satans as a Satan a few times. For the 'witches devil' I ussually associate that to King Beliel, Baphomet, and King Asmodai.

@max_the_mantis5173 I know we all have our own UPG (unverifiable personal gnosis) and I am VERY close to Azazel (yes He may not be the same as Shemyaza), I speak with both Satan and Azazel on my spirit board, and some other demons too like Moloch and King Belial. I have to say, I have only had positive experiences with these entities in the 16 years I've been a dedicated Satanist/Demonolator.

But the demons of the old testimant existed before monotheism did, they were the surrounding cultures gods.. If that were true then there would not be so many jinn who genuinely do not believe in god, and have to be brainwashed into believing it the same way that humans are. Many demons don't even believe in god, the same way many humans don't. Just because I believe in demons who existed before the Abrahamic god was worshipped, doesn't mean I must also believe in god, it's a false assumption.

The demons are parts of consciousness, the planet, nature, the sun,moon, and stars, also some overlap between, jinn, and fae. The satans are The Watchers of Enoch in my belief and are Angels or Earthly Angels. The Satans are Angels of Death severely misunderstood. Ofc these are not the only demons but these are my understanding of demons as someone whose worked with them for 3-4 years now and been a wizard for 2 now. Theres also 7-10 demon kings aswell.

@@palsy9882 I actually am well aware of the connection between what I am saying and Yokai, aswell as Daemons, because I am a demonologist I study all different types of demons aswell as spirits from many different religions. You are correct that fear eaters could be viewed as both a type of yokai, and as a type of lesser daemon, absolutely. I also agree that ultimately people who are Unbalanced and destructive to other people as assholes will continue to be often times until being forced to learn self control and kindness and even then those things without empathy, accountability, and authenticity won’t be enough. Summoning a jinnie was my first in person direct encounter, and being visited by an angel every night for months in my case is what drove me solidly away from agnosticism. But understanding the history of Pantheism, and learning the history of demonology aswell. Learning that they represent differant parts of human psychology, nature, and the universe also and that this is not a new lense but among the foundations for pantheism all contributed among other things.

I've been mulling over the whole Samael being equated to the Demiurge thing and as a child of Samael myself it was driving me crazy, but your explanation actually makes a fvck ton of sense from a psychological standpoint. And if we're seeing it like Cathulu, the Demiurge, and Samael are all names for the human shadow, animal brain, and the universal primordial Chaos or shadow, then that makes sense too. I even asked Samael if he's the demiurge but he just said 'sort of' so ya had to puzzle through it all on my own lol. But your explanation is illuminating. I've met a few Chaotes who work with Cathulu since he's a cosmic horror book character its no stranger than me working with Samael or me having formerly worked with The G man from the Half-Life video games, they're all kind of differant lenses to embody what mandkind Fears, and I forget that sometimes when I get lost in the ancient mythos of the Nag Hamadi Library and the Stories, aswell as my own personal mythos can at time distract me from the essence and core root of things, so I appreciate your input, as a fellow Chaote.
