I hate it when there's no man door in the garage and you have to go though the house
Hahahaha hey Tony I’m listening to it today while I’m changing 2 sections that got hit by a car too
If you get another door off track job, could you show in depth how you fix it ?
@@peters6850Yes, will do the number one thing you need to remember is safety
It’s always that stupid bearing they are always the problem or the stupid shaft coupler the screws will break and sometimes the head stays on and it looks ok but really it’s not one system anymore OR the plastic clips that hold the spring into the winding unit break and the spring pulls out it’s just a shit system but menards will tell you it’s great!
I have never changed a gear only. Not sure why it would be worth it other than the cost of the whole assembly vs gear only but more time involved
@@rustybridges4302 back in the day I used to be a employee had to install part I given. I have to agree I buy the gear kit.
What is that tool and where do you get it
@@ccoleman7747 it’s called a gear master and you can get them at Service Springs. Part number is 809 and I’m sure Denco or Re-source
Thanks for the breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
What would an appropriate fix be? You replaced the part that was broken
@@peters6850 I believe she wanted something for nothing
I thought I did a pretty good job. They wanted Affordable and that’s what they got lol. Thank goodness for Papa Tony to save the day. 😊
That's so frustrating, sorry you had to deal with that. Once i went to a place to replace springs, both were broken on a 16x7 uninsulated door. Gears went bad on the opener while setting the limits properly. Replaced them too, but somehow my Karen said it was my fault, said i did something to it. One spring had heavy rust in/on the broken wire. They used the opener until the second spring broke. bad timing for me as i had to hear that i was supposed to "warranty" the opener i never installed. They were mad, paid, i left thinking they wouldn't call again in the future. About 4 yrs later i replaced the door after someone drove through it. Hopefully your Karen comes around too.
It's only a 5k fix.
Customer Probably called three companies and took the cheapest bid
Thanks for the videos Tony
I’m with you, Tony I love Garage Door companies Who do bad work cause it gives me something to fix🤣🤷♂️
Just did one today. It is a replacement for one that was 11/2 years old with the tensioner she was having problems with it loosing its position. The new one programs really easy.
@@RichB0330 Rich B It was really no different than a drawbar to program. Just looks funny with without that tensioner there.
@@PapaTony5340 I'm glad they got rid of the tensioner
I’m not gonna work today. I’m just gonna sit in my truck and watch Papa Tony install openers.
@@rustybridges4302 lol well I could do some perimeter seal today lol
😂
Looks good boss.
I showed there was no cable tensioner while it was going down, but the video froze
German engineering speed and efficiency
Tony you need a table you're making my back hurt watching you. go to Menards get a 4x6 folding table they don't take up any room in the truck. your knees and back will thank me.
What’s up Tony! Got this on as background noise while I install 2 81550 openers
@@rustybridges4302 love it be safe

My camera man. (Me) lol
@PapaTony5340 I just wondered cause I watched some of your videos and I'm saying, how in the hell is he recording this and doing this work and walking around? It doesn't look like you're holding your phone. 😀

I would say R-4
Yeah, I was thinking less than R6
That is going to be around 65-69. Very similar to the Sioux 72 I always talk about. There's also a Sioux 70 that looks exactly like this but has a orange case with stickers on the side. It also was of had a plastic cover for the light. These were also labeled as Crusader and Montgomery Ward
I suspect the ladder
