Those 3 little wires should not be joined with a red wire nut. It is too big to make a good connection.

I watched your video as it was the first one recommended and wired my fixture as you showed called shunted only to open my bulbs I purchased was for a non-shunted configuration *hot and neutral on one ended. I'm finding out it's harder to find shunted style bulbs on the market so your worthless video is only good if you purchase StarLED bulbs!

Your MUSIC SUCKS. And you should have used a YELLOW wire nut, not a red. The MINIMUM would be 4-18 gage wires not three. A yellow or smaller is required. You also need to address shunted tombstones or someone is going to blow a circuit and the bulbs.

Suddenly he started flashing and after 5/10 seconds he was dead. I bought 2 V-TAC LED tubes mod. VT-1577.T8.G13.20W I cut off the power supply on the requested side, after installing nothing to do they don't work. To see if the ballast is working, what voltage or current should I find in the output terminal block that powers the tubes? Thank you, thank you very much. Can you help me, thanks.

This could be a good video if not for the pounding, intrusive music. Please consider that it adds no instructional value and distracts terribly. If you had a group of students gathered around, would you crank up techno music to the same volume as your voice to compete with you while you're talking? I strutted like a rooster while watching the video, all the way to atwoods and picked up the t8 ballest bypass led lamps. Then I strutted to the music all the way back to my garage where I strutted while I bypassed the ballast and installed the new bulbs. Then I strutted in to show my wife who also heard the music and saw the lights working along with my strutting, and jumped my bones!! Thanks for...well everything!!

How does this work when you didn't connect the black wire? My lamp has yellow wires on one end and blue & red wires on the other end. Black to blue & red, white to yellow are tge instructions. .

You must use single-ended led light tubes in this wiring scheme because of non-shunted sockets, not double-ended one.

This video is for single ended LEDs with the Line (L) and Neutral (N) pins on one end. You have to make sure the tombstones on both ends are non-shunted (the two inner connectors are electrically separate) or you'll have a short circuit. Double ended LEDs have the Line (L) on one end and Neutral (N) on the other.

My Fluorescent only has power at one end but uses a 2 pin each side tube. I dont know how the power is transfered to that end.

You lost me at the point of connecting to power. Should there be a black wire involved? You have two white wires. In the video the connections to power seems blocked by hands or not clear. Yes I am a complete layman.

You know this video is almost entirely useless as the dumb shit is using a lamp fixture with a plug on it that has 2 white wires and a green wire ? what fucking moron doesn't use a plug with white black and green like 99.999999% of the world .. the video is rendered useless because it is nearly impossible to follow which wires are power and neutral because the leads are both the same color. This video was not intended to "help" do it your self people it is designed to start a fire and drum up business for licensed technicians to over charge because they are fixing the wiring burnt in the whole house .. ignore this video find a better one as your house not catching on fire would be a better end result then following this asshole. not saying he doesnt know what he is doing its the exact opposite as he can always say you didnt follow the instructions.
