30:39 The fact is that many young talent are trying to get in as much ring time and fan exposure as possible in that taking shady bookings I guess as bad as it is still has some value but that doesn't justify the practices of the Booker, that's just an understandable thing as to why these promoters are still able to continue. I'm sure in some people's eyes, if those shady bookers got shut down I'm sure there's a few struggling wrestlers who did get paid by them and they would be losing another opportunity. Some people may feel like they can't be pushed around and taken advantage of and so they always got paid and now because some people have been taken advantage these people have to suffer because some people are incapable of making sure they don't get got. Nobody wants shady characters being allowed to let loose but in reality there's a whole world out there of horrible and evil people. Some people just want to make the best of a bad situation. I don't know any of the details to this but I often hear the same story all the time from many people. What if you were doing business with someone for a long time and making good money then all of a sudden people came up to you and said that you had to stop working with the person because other people didn't get the same results. I mean at some point you got to draw the line but that for you to decide. But to try and see it from another perspective just helps to make the best call

Your the 3rd person to address this problem, the first one was from the New England area, the other person from Georgia who covers Alabama and Florida Indy Wrestling. The thing for me is I'm from New York so I'm not Familiar with any of these shady promoters. I just follow RUclips channels so I don't know if I am following one of those promotions but I always wonder if I was somehow supporting the wrong people 🤔. Johnny Slaughter was the one name that keeps coming up.

I like the fact that this account features independent wrestling, I mean how many people does it take to b*tch and complain about everything AEW and WWE do? Excuse my language but you get the point. The thing I can't stand is Jim Cornette, Vince Russo and others who have been in the business plus many smart marks podcasts doing weekly reviews of AEW and WWE, why these people claiming to be fans constantly crying and complaining. I hate how they relegate Impact and Ring of Honor as less than and undesirable companies, the way they make comments and display attitudes towards ROH and Impact Wrestling makes me wonder how many potential new Wrestling fans have been turned of and prevented from following these promotions because of the opinions and attitudes of people who are in positions of influence? I guarantee that if Cornette, Dave Metzer, Konnan, Russo and the rest of the top podcasts people were gathered together in a meeting and agreed to begin doing weekly reviews for ROH, Impact and companies like OVW and intentionally only made positive remarks and gave them raving reviews even if they didn't feel that way, the fans would react accordingly and those promotions would definitely see an increase in viewership. Like a psychological experiment. The fans are pretty much told what to think about wrestling based on these gatekeepers in the Industry who honestly don't do any favors for the hashtag support wrestling. I'm not saying ever fan is a mindless sheep but unconsciously their attitudes and perceptions are already shaped by the things they hear from those who are overtly opinionated and act like because someone signed with another company other than WWE that they have fallen from grace. If you are not in the main event of wrestlemania and signed to the biggest contract your a loser. That's what they say pretty much. An example is the hate and complaining about things like Jon Moxley doing independent shows, death matches and fighting in Japan or AEW allowing Shida to defend the Ice Ribbon Women's Joshi Pro Wrestling Regina de Wave title on National television. Instead of focusing on the monumental achievement that a female Japanese promotion has made and the generosity of AEW to allow it and introduce fans to the promotion why are people upset about it and complaining

Hang on I'm confused. I only saw this video because It was suggested to me by my finely tune algorithm training and I always thought that this channels last video was a year ago so I figured the more current videos were on another platform like Facebook or something. But then just now I noticed that RUclips has started a new section called Live and that's where all the videos have been hiding. That means I am as dumb as I look because all this time I thought this channel wasn't active in the last year. I guess I got a lot of catching up to do

As a 40+ years lifelong independent wrestling fan who has never sat through an hour of WWE content I thought I was familiar with every single promotion around the world from Cameroon Africa to the backwoods of Mississippi. I have not heard of Gen Z yet the kid seems pretty mature for his age. When he listed promotions he worked for I quickly searched for their RUclips channels to see if they have any. And I not only found them but discovered that I'm already subscribed to them except one of them I some how became up subscribed from. I know I was subscribed to them because I had already watched a few matches as you can tell by the RUclips history function which shows the little red progress line at the bottom of the screen so you can pick up where you left off the next time you go back to the vision unless you physically turn off the RUclips history function. But in the process of typing in and searching for the companies named I actually found other promotions of the same or similar names from other states in Minnesota and elsewhere. I was surprised to discover 3 new wrestling promotions to subscribe to because it's been a year or so since I have come across already established wrestling companies in which I don't already follow. The majority of companies I usually discover which I never heard of are mostly brand new upstarts. I love finding promotions that have a lot of episodes of good content from past years. There's a lot of promotions that ten years ago were putting out real good quality content and I'm not just talking about the talent or storylines, I mean considering a lot of it was from the late 90's and the early to mid 2000's the video, audio, commentary and lighting were all pretty good especially considering that I know of a few wrestling promotions today in 2020's that have absolutely unwatchable videos on their RUclips channel because they don't put any effort in their set up, they might have grade A talent but they don't have multicamera set ups , proper lighting and the worst in my book is when they do commentary over the loud speaker and it's all distorted. But when I listen to this show I always subscribe to the guests socials

Pro Wrestling Union is a fantastic promotion! They have good wrestlers showing up, the production quality is good looking. Pro Wrestling Union is one of the best shows in the Carolinas. Other promotions could learn a thing or many things from Mr. Mcabee.
