Hey, u're working late? Last week was quite a relaxing week for me, i was able to leave before 7pm. can you believe it ? haha though i work late most of the time, i try to have a flex schedule by going into the office later, or i take it easier when i'm WFH. I love going to study cafe on one of the weekends, its kinda refreshing. Whats your weekend plan this week?

​@@Yumiintokyo NOthing new from my side, as usual doing overtime before Halloween and festive seasons. Generally this time and before Xmas there is too much work have to complete. The weekend is as usual, relaxing, will read some books, learn new things and will do side projects etc.

Yes, i love watching the Suits too. I recommend watching Lincoln lawyer on Netflix if u need to binge watch something over the weekend! I might have to start investing in a camera to film a study with me vlog, seems like most prefer option 1 now. 😊

Happy Friday! I’ve been going to the accessories shops lately to buy more charms and blings to make my jewelries. Sometimes i stay in the cafe for 2 hours to make them 😅 i should be studying instead. Thanks for sharing more about yourself. I really should get back to working out, and stretch my body. All those long hours at my desk giving me body aches. I think im an introvert too, hi5, somehow i ended up in a client facing role lol. The 2 WFH days really help me to charge my social battery 😎😂

Hello, read the news that hurricane helen hit Florida. I hope u and your family are not affected 🙏 Tbh, i like studying in a quiet environment but I’ve been doing the same routine - office & home. It feels nice to be out to treat myself to a nice lunch on one of the weekends and then study. Last week’s routine was a good change. One hack that i do to not look at social media is not to bring my phone charger haha. My metro card is on my Apple Watch, so i have to make sure my iPhone battery is not dead by the time i finish studying. Otherwise i wont be able to go home 😂

A new environment can stimulate the mind but as you said, a quiet place is best. Maybe I'll try your phone trick! As soon as my phone is in my hands, somehow I end up on Instagram🤣

Hi 😊 thanks for your advise. It’s definitely not sustainable to work long hours and i do too share the same experiences as u, overloaded with responsibilities. I was so overwhelmed earlier this year and had to stop summer semester to take care of my mental well being. I’ve some goals set for this year, and will make a decision on my next step by early Jan. In the meantime, lets encourage each other to power through 💪 As for managing work and grad school, im not going to sugar coat it. It is tough. Going to law school or any grad school while working is a long term commitment, be it financially or mentally. It can be lonely at times, but if u maintain consistency and committed to your goals, the end result is worth while 😇

Hahaha Japanese food is really delicious and even McDonalds though the portion maybe smaller compared to other countries. Where are you based?

@@Yumiintokyo I live in the US. Florida to be exact. The last time I ate McDonalds was 12 years ago and let's just say it didn't look anywhere near as edible as yours🤣

It was scary in the beginning but I’ve gotten used to it 😅 taking the lift alone can be scary 👻 Ah my bad, H&M cafe was actually just a small coffee shop. The latte was pretty good but pricey. Btw UNIQLO has their own mini coffee stand in tokyo too, their draft coffee is really good ❤️ Thanks for your support and encouragement, I’m powering through 💪 enjoy your break till spring.
