Wowsers! I'm a new fan of Blues music. That's a pretty impressive vinyl collection. I can't believe John Lee Hooker recorded over 100 albums. 😊

Impressive. But not that big fan of 70s soul or funksoul. THE ORGANIZATION (1971) u didn t seem to have , a S.Poitier SF excellent heist film w GIL MELLE (an early Blue Note artist) score ...nor XCROSS THE 110th St, the Womack classic either. Nor IN THE HEAT OF THE NITE (Quincy & Charles).
75 different, excl compil.
COUNTED 66 different Lighntnting Hopkinsis ... = CONGRATS. The largest # evuhhh SC3NE, excluded duplicates, bestofs, samplers. JLH also distinctive. Ciuld be better organized, kinda rough cut. HIP LINCHAIN : Change My Blues - Teardrop, didn t see. If wanna buy I got a diplicate. =The best westside lp evvyhh. Also Magic Slims were MIA. Maybe this not your whole coll3ction ...Lots of stuff I never bothred to buy, I just collected THE KANON, the creme du creme, since not a millionaire. Plus deep soul and R&B you omitted. Are the Japanese pressings any good?
I think they're pretty good! The King pressings are better than the Toshiba ones in my opinion. They're definitely not as good as original pressings or even liberty RVG pressings which pack a lot more punch. But for the price, I think they're a great and affordable compromise to finding originals. They also make beautiful covers.

Great stuff. How many of these are originals (RVG)? :)
I would say I have about 15 original pressings. A bunch or Liberty RVGs and then it’s a mix of later pressings, quite a lot of Japanese pressings, 80s series and tone poet series. For the later Blue Note series (late 1967 onwards), I mostly have first pressings. So that last pile I flip through mostly contains originals.
