Best version i have heard of this song besides the boss version of course, being a newfie boy i love this scottish version much more than all..reminded me of aa corries sstyle..would love to hear this done again with a soft tin wwhistle in the background and a set of smallpipes in there at the end and waalking it out..but i play a million insteuments that wwould compliment it so maybe thats why i say that..sounds great lads from your newfie cousins across the big pond..wish Bruce would do a celtic album..this one and misses macgrath etc etc
Well done Gentlemen from your celtic cousins in Newfoundland across the big pond keep at it
Awesome mate. Your voice is great man! 👍
I like it, thanks for sharing. I'm currently trying to learn this on piano.
i like this piece, well done guys!
Nice vocals 👍
Great cover, you should do Sky Takes The Soul and Sunshine On Leith
Great video! You should do more proclaimers covers. Could you do Sunshine On Leith or Sky Takes The Soul
Awesome cover.
That's an absolute stonker - powerful guitar, and cracking harmony. Great job, guys!
in my opinion, Better than the original 👍🏻
Very good! Could look like you're enjoying it a bit more though!
Great performance!
Could listen to this all day, original is superb and this is too, well done
True! Being Scottish helps with that! Glad you liked it..
Don't tell the lads, but I prefer this to the original!
great singing...it cant be sung without a broad scottish accent can it!!!
A very good job, great harmonies, impressive, please keep it up.

Im glad you like our wee video, thanks for sharing it!
What can I say ! BRILLIANT!
What a fantastic cover ,great voices
This is one of the best covers of a song I have ever seen. Wish I could cover songs as well as this. Well done and thanks for posting
excellent!
Capo on 5 verse C Dm G 'are you happy now' = F C F C Am Em F G C Dm G again then F C F C Am Em F G A (takes it to key change) and last verse is in a higher key and is D Em A
Absolutely superb lads!! Loved the Proclaimers to bits right from the start. You really do this Song well. 10/10.
Sorry, no. The Am in the verse is actually a Dm!
Yup, that's them alright...
Great rendition. Can you share the chords please? Much appreciated.
Thanks very much! Glad you liked it, a great song to sing!!
Wow, you guys are brilliant!!
good fun. I don't think you need two guitars though - have you tried it with one person 'slapping the wood' instead of playing, for percussion? might work a charm and would prevent your nice harmonies from being drowned by mid-range sound
