kpop is NOT pop genre music in korean. kpop is POPULAR music of korea meaning it can be any genre of music its not always in korean language and every artist isnt always korean ethnically or nationality. example the one with the cup at the beginning is korean american. theres also a japanese member if im not mistaken. and for new jeans i think a few are also not korean nationally i think australian and new zeland but ethnically korean and also a Vietnamese member who is both ethnically and nationality viet. but theres groups who have thai members, japanese, viet, chinese, indian etc and theres also africans, europeans, americans etc in many kpop groups some groups are even full non korean both ethnically and nationality. like XG is fully japanese and mainly make music in full english. theres a new british or american boy group i think fully american or full british. theres a group blackswan who all has non korean members all from different places and all different ethnicitys. basically everything you heard or thought of kpop forget it because it was probably lies or a specific case that media stretched to be for the entire industry when its not. there are true horror stories i wont downplay that and most if not all kpop fans wont but to paint this picture of every single idol/artist in korea being controlled and like a puppet is very very very wrong and ignorant. so please if you can read this comment or show it to your stream not for me to get any recognition but for everyone to be educated and whether they take the education and believe me or say im some 'brainwashed stan who wont see the truth' i ask how many boycotts, petitions, letters, emails and money pools have you done to force the bad labels and the govt in korea to save the idols who were/are being harmed? cause if none you dont get to tell fans who know reality that were brainwashed. last year the group loona was being abused by their label and not paid a dime for years so not only did their korean and global fandom boycott but so did even non fans who are fans of other groups in other labels completely separated from their situation. everyone chipped in to help spread the word so all fans stopped giving the label profits on all fronts from album sales, streaming, concerts etc protest trucks were sent in front of the label, petitions were signed and gained public attention which led to all 12 members have been released from their contracts and are now not in the label at all but are still able to make music and sign to other better labels etc. you can easily find kpop stands not being so obsessed with a group that they ignore the pain the idols are going through most times the fans demand better treatment or doing anything to help the idols get out of the labels even if it means that group is done etc. you have to research for yourself and not just assume and consume mainstream news lies. cause theyre scared of global music becoming big in their countries so they make up lies to keep western people away they do it to all music that isnt from a western 1st world country and even in some cases the states does it to uk, Canadian etc artists as well. look deeper into why theyre allowed to glorify western music when there cases like diddy but draw the line at kpop when just the like west not every artist has a shtty contract. korea is not a monolith even tho their society is conservative and collective the younger generations have a lot of rebellion and if you look deep into south koreas history their democracy is very strong in the way the people react to being controlled look at the martial law that just happened and lasted for 2 hours. those things are reflected in their art as well including kpop. kpop was founded on rebellious music the very first group got banned many times. it has become corporatized but that doesnt mean real human art is lost fully. you just have to sometimes look deeper than the music video songs to find the best art since music videos for them is most commercial not always but most of the times.

Their most popular songs are Super Shy and OMG My personal favorites are How Sweet and Supernatural (you should react to their performance video for How Sweet) They have an old school, 90s, early 2000s vibe/concept The mvs for their songs arent posted on their main channel they're posted on HYBEs youtube channel Also if you plan to react to other kpop groups besides newjeans keep in mind that newjeans are very different compared to other kpop groups

You should also react to boygroups! My fav ones are Straykids and Ateez! They have more hyped songs and more rap in their songs but also really great singing! And some groups I also like are Enhypen, Txt, Boynextdoor and P1harmony! P1harmony also has really unique songs!!
