La 8eme symph.de Shostakovich.V exprime l'horreur de la guerre, et au bout des cinq mouvements, la tension ne se relâche toujour pas, c' est plutôt celui d'une transe ou l'émotion est morte. Merveilleux timbres des bois et du violon solo. Excellente interprétation. 🎻🎺❤

I counted 30 seconds of motionless silence after the final note had finished sounding before Gergiev moved to acknowledge the end of the piece. Funny how at the end, they had a ton of credits--but no musicians' names!

Impressive, I just wish we didn't have to look at Gergiev, he looks almost diseased.

Bravo, Maestro! I have goose bumps from this music. Simply amazing performance. This music touches every fiber in my soul and body. I can see marching Nazi murderers turning happy peaceful cities and villages into scorching coals. Only brave and strong nation could defeat this evil.

The movements are: 1:18 = Lento (mvt 1) 20:37 = Allegretto (mvt 2) 31:58 = Allegro non troppo (mvt 3)
