056 and Last Mandukya Upanishad
Māndukya Upaniṣad from the Atharvaveda propounds the quintessence of Advaita Vedānta in just 12 mantras. The study of this one text alone is enough to take a qualified seeker to mokṣa.
It says that the akṣara Om is all this and all this is Brahman. The māhāvākya is ayam ātmā brahma. This ātmā is pointed out as Turīya, the fourth, through an in-depth analysis of jāgrat, svapna and suṣupti.
To expound the subtlety of the mantras, Śri Gaudapādācārya has written 215 kārikās. Śri Śankarācārya through his profound bhāṣya has provided a penetrating insight into the essence of the sublime teaching.

Pmp mnpmñqppqm n

Well explained about "Ego ( Ahankara) - two types . 1) About Eshwara 2) About Jeeva. One with Knowledge, another is ignorant.

Thanks, Swami G! Enlightening to listen to you.
Vvimp : Meaning of Chaitanya ( Brahman ) , Chetana ( Prakruti ) explained. On what basis we can call Prakruti ( Chetana ) is inert ( Jada ). Nature of Form ( Akara ) , Name ( Vikara ) & Name and formless ( Nirakara ). Way of Sadana to be adopted which is most important.
V.IMP : Explained Kshetra . Kshetragna & Brahman/Atman . Sadhana to understand that.
IMP : Explained the merging of Gross things into Subtle things , Subtle things into Causual things , and finally all things merge in Infinite ie called Brahman etc., . Finally Only one no two - no cause & efect theory also. Unity in Diversity. Advaita.
IMP : Explained "Nirupadhika Satyam" & "Soupadhika Satyam" , View of Turiyatman in the Universe - through Cause - Effect - Oneness theory.
IMP : General ( Samanya ) knowledge , Particular ( Vishesha ) knowledge explained. Vishesha jnana merging in Samanya jnana. Samanya jnana will always be there. Ex : salt merging in sea. Universe merging in Self. Self merging in Brahman. Body merging in Soul , Soul merging in Self ( Atman ). Karya merging in Kaarana. Kaarana merging in Infinite. Infinite is Immortal. Explained to understand easily.
IMP : Explained about incidents took place through stories in Upanishads and it's purpose. About 3 types of Karma - it's functions in the life of individuals.
IMP : "Soupadhika Atman" - "Nirupadkika Atman" , "Sthana ( Kshetra ) Dharma" - "Sthani ( Ksetragna ) Dharma". "SARVATMABHAVA".
IMP : Explained difference between "Sushuptatma" - "Turiyatma" , "Pratibhasika Satya" - "Mithya" & "Tatvamasi".
IMP : Explained the meaning of 1) "Vacharambhanam & Vagarambhanam" - in two ways. 2)Meaning of Adhyasa - how it applicable to Brahman & Universe ? Because there should be similiarity in "Adhyasa". Ex : Rope & Snake etc., . Answer given is - Brahman feature is Eternal Bliss and Universe basic feature is Limited Bliss through Objects. So through Bliss common to Brahman & Universe - Adhyasa is established.
super elaboration and picturizattion helps a lot to understanding such tough topic

I have no words to express my gratitude to sswamiji 🙏🙏🙏how effortlessly beautifully he is teaching such difficult and most profound upanishad. Real saint he was.Profusely pray , May his grace and blessing bestow on us from where ever he is .🙏🙏🙏
Ananda is Brahman. Not anandamaya, which has three gradations.
The points discussed were awesome!
I have studied many Vedanta texts and listened to many talks. This is the best talk on such a complex Upanishad as Mandukya. Take time to listen to it. Your life will change.
Good evening swami, god bless you. Please, could you explain: you say that mannas is brahman only you don t know it. Who is that doesnt know? Is it mannas itself? Many thanks and greetings from greece.
Yes manas itself. Since their is identification of self with manas, their conclusion "I" don't know it Ignorance is in Buddhi (mind) only. Not in Aatma. Due to ignorance their is superimposion on the Aatma.
