Did it set hard or was it still soft?

It looks quite proper with a moving magnet catride and a counter weight rather than those spring loaded arms. Do you tracked at 3 grams? All my years never tracked so heavy..1.5gram to 2 grams.

Interesting video ,l have never tried simple green but just use deionized water (l think it is similar to distilled ) it is very cheap for a very large bottle at most supermarkets .It really works well and leaves the record with a great shine as well as removing all marks and eliminates most clicks and static ...

Thanks so much for posting your procedure. It was extremely helpful seeing how you did it. I did exactly the same way and got great results as well! Especially the tip to not get the label wet. I was gonna put the album under the faucet to rinse it and that would’ve ruined the label! My only confusion is the ratio of simple green to water. 1 ounce of simple green to 2 cups or 16 ounces, would be a one to 16 ratio, Not one to 30. But I use the one to 16 like you suggested, and the record turned out great and it did not seem to hurt the record. My biggest surprise like you said was that it actually removed almost all the pops I was getting in the album! Again, thanks so much for posting!! 😊

Beautifully done. I too learned about record cleaning from Topper 4 or 5 years ago. He is an angel. He gave us a wonderful gift of himself. What a good, graceful soul.
