How do you drive web component when It depend to another library ? Currently I'm doing web component for example with angular material and I build component with Dialog and I encapsulated that with ShadowDom, but.... when I want to use this component en other aplication angular de Dialog modal dont work. Do you have any idea about problem ?

I know i'm a year late, but this is hands down brilliant. Your workspaces are like a Visual Studio solution for multiple client and library projects and that is awesome. Love the concept of libraries of components that are then imported into apps, and the way you have wired routing up with that is so sweet. Thanks for your great work, this will the basis of my next presentation at the Architecture meetings at work, my last one on Angular and ASP.Net MVC integration finally got one team adopting it, so this should really push more uptake.

Why bother with the Angular-isms when you can just create a native component? Yes, there is a bit of boiler plate, but most of that can be handled by libraries and they don't fatten the code. You can use a native component anywhere and no need to require Angular, React or anything else. And these components can be used in any framework as he demoed. But to force me to use Angular to create something natively supported seems like a waste of memory and forces me to learn how to write a component in the Angular way instead of a truly 100% cross-framework-compatible way (Native).

Thanks for the quick overview, I would appreciate if you can talk about the @Input and @Output as well. I am having a an issue with my project. I have a table header and a table body. Both are separate components. I have an expand colllapse button on the header which expands or collapses the body. I am using an @Output in my header , Emitting and event there . Also i have a function that is being used on (click) of the icon. In my index.ts, i have a downgraded component which has output property with the name of @Output property. Following is the sample code which is not working. In Header.ts component i have something like this ==>> @Input() collapsed = false; @Input() hideCollapse: boolean; @Output() collapsedChange = new EventEmitter(); toggleCollapse() { this.collapsed = !this.collapsed; this.collapsedChange.emit(this.collapsed); } And in my index.ts i have something like this ==>> TableGroupModule.directive('tableGroupHeader', <any>downgradeComponent({ component: TableHeaderComponent, propagateDigest: false, inputs: ['collapsed', 'hideCollapse'], outputs: ['collapsedChange'] })); Let me know if you need more information on this. I dont get any errors in the console, it just doesn't work.
