    eul's is especially efficient against slark, since u can use it while pounced, and all other move spells are cancelled by it. BKB is not enough against slark because if the fight lasts long (temporised with slark's ult), pounce has a way shorted cooldown than BKB.

    Please make a video on how to bind attack move click to left click like in League of Legends & Heroes of the Storm, for some reason there is no easy way of doing this in Dota 2 which is kinda sad to see both these other 2 games having a superior way of choosing your binds/settings, a guide would really help a lot in that regard hence it seems necessary to use the console commands to do so

    LOL. This feels good, but solid, concrete details and preparation is way more important. How do you control lane equilibrium, how should you build vs that lineup, how do you counter the draft and how to draft, itemisation, timings and strategy. All of these have led me to success, not going in playing with blind confidence and fun. Heralds play with blind confidence and fun.. and they will always continue to do so.

      Switching roles is like switching instruments, oh Guitar today seems cool. But Piano players are more sophisticated, but also Saxophone is way smoother, and you end up wasting your time jumping around. Pick ONE role. And Master it. That means learning every nuance about that role, the best hero in that role, how to play that role in the lane, how to play that role in team fights, how to itemise for that role and where should that role be and doing, every single minute. DotA is a game played in minutes, every single minute new opportunities arise and those who play mindlessly see the timer click down to their lost.

    • @TaoriUTS
      @TaoriUTS 6 месяцев назад

      playing your role and not griefing is the most impactful way to win games. stacking instead of farming as support, making space as 3 instead of farming, not feeding as midlaner and tp'ing when sidelanes get dived, having any presence whatsoever as 1 ... it's that simple

    At some point you said dont try to fix lost lanes. I just want to agree and add to that, i dont remember where i heard it but i think it's true, - the reason why your offlaner for example lost his lane is probably far more deeper than just a kill or two. So the amount of time and effort to try to help him won't actually be beneficial for the team so you try to focus on other stuff rather than a gank to that lane.

    This topic is complex and interesting. There are a good chunk of humanity that is born into extreme poverty or other types of extreme circumstances, that severely limit their power over their own lives. However I am inclined to agree with you in the end, since if a person stays positive and tries hard, I would guess they are more likely to improve their very unfortunate life situations, than if they doesn't look for change (can't be sure though since I am relatively lucky in life myself, with only one or two "bad rolls"). Anyway, when it comes to DotA this seems especially true. If you are fortunate enough to have time to play it a decent amount of time each week, there is really nothing stopping you. The preconditions in DotA are much, much more fair, than the preconditions of life on earth. I guess there are some things that is out of your control, like if you were born with wrist problems or born with asocial traits, making it harder for you to find a good stack or understand randoms. But that's not the sort of things I hear people complain over, they most usually complain over things that they have complete control over, if they just change the way they play. Like say for example, they complain that they died when they followed their team into a bad fight, although they had always the choice not to go into that fight, thus winning more games if they start not going into bad fights. There are so many examples of irrational logic after being stubborn in playstyle.

I'm guardian 4, played around 2.5k games since 2014 (not a frequent player), I never practise (last hitting etc), never look at my replays and always play after I've had a few beers. If I did all the things required to climb would I climb, probably, how much, I don't know. If I did that though it would take all the fun out of it, dota2 for me is to unwind

    That's right, if you practice the Piano everyday but only play twinkle twinkle little star, you will only ever know that song played in that specific way. That is what casual DotA players do, they join lobby, auto pilot their games to have fun and do that for 2+ years with zero change in behaviour = zero net positive change in winrate. Now if you come in each session, learning specific things, learn to play scales, arpeggios, take sight-reading and aural practice, learn different pieces with increasing difficulty, specifically focusing on what you are weak at. Over a course of 2 years you would be at an astounding level of competence, this then becomes your new benchmark, your baseline and you constantly learn. In DotA the meta is constantly evolving, and those that do not adapt, fail to progress. Mechanics will always be the same, but meta and the strategical understanding of the game is what changes and what players must constantly strive to understand. In two months, by focusing I was able to go from Crusader to Legend. Simply by changing my bad habits and developing and practising established truths, I didn't need to sit down and think about new ways to play the game, I just needed to play like what other players higher rank than me are doing if I wanted to achieve that rank. And if I wanted to surpass that rank I will need to look beyond, just like in Piano, I didn't need to sit and dissect the piano and fingering and how should I learn this and that, there is a myriad of knowledge and information already established that I can use to excel. That is why, dumb unique builds that have not been proven is bad, why picking out of meta, low winrate heroes are bad, they are statisically proven bad by pros before me and that I know I do not understand the game deeply enough to try anything other then what is established. Only when I have reached the pinnacle then my creativity will be able to shine. I have stubborn friends with "talent" who simply play the same hero for nearly a decade, and they at best stay the same mmr, or worst drop significantly, because they fail to learn beyond their current knowledge or fail to develop the habits that proves their current stupidity. That is what is stopping people from suceeding in DotA and life, acknowledging that you are shit, and there is a way to become less shit.
